Excellent Hotel. Handy for Dublin either by train or by car. Food excellent and reasonably priced. Very clean throughout. Great housekeeping. This was our second visit as a family and it's unlikely to be the last.

Excellent family friendly hotel . We stayed in family rooms very spacious and very comfortable beds . Food was lovely with very friendly staff and spotlessly clean . Great kids club for to keep your kids entertained . Overall great stay only small problem was heat in rooms but a fan was provided.

It’s hard for me to review this property because I was in for a wedding and didn’t spend enough time at hotel. Breakfast was great and coffee shop and lunch spot was also great. Train is convenient if you wanted to explore out of town and overall experience was good. I’d recommend, and if you’re traveling with children it seems they are extremely kid friendly.

Not our first time to stay here. Hotel is beautiful and comfortable and staff are super friendly. There are dining options and a very nice back. Maynooth village is close by. Will stay here again. Thank you to everyone who made our stay enjoy able.

Liked parking and electric car charger available at property.Next to small supermarket and walking distance to local pubs and restaurants.Need to wear a swimming cap at pool , communal changing rooms no private changing and need padlock to secure locker.Needs updating also quite busy as open to leisure centre members and adult pool in lanes.Long walk to to room from reception.

The Glenroyal Hotel
Lovely refurbished rooms & bathrooms. Nice breakfast & good family pool. Unfortunately, the neighbouring families on either side of our allocated room were not considerate to the other guests around them- very noisy late at night and early morning. Reported the issue to the hotel early morning (4* hotel rooms shouldn’t be able to hear the next rooms conversations or tv on a normal volume). Eoin, the ‘Rooms Division Manager’ gave a very sarcastic response which was disappointing. He suggested ‘genuine complaints could be sorted there and then’ - Was my complaint not genuine Eoin? Other than this, we enjoyed the location of the hotel and exploring the local area. Friendly local restaurants and bars.

Hot. Way, way too hot.
Hotel was fine, service was professional and friendly, the pool was super fun. Completely ruined by hotel rooms being absolutely baking hot, to the point none of us could sleep. I get that it’s August but it was also 15 degrees and raining. It felt like heat was radiating from the floors and the walls. Unbearable.

Great hotel
Overall, a superb hotel, very clean, amazing 5 star quality staff and the food was superb. My one issue was the room not having air con. The room was 26 degrees all night and like an oven. Made it very uncomfortable and hard to sleep.

Nice hotel
The hotel was good for kids, with a kids movie night each night but there was no Aircon so the rooms were very very warm. Would go back again but not during the summer as the heat was unbearable to sleep. We also had booked a room that had a pull out bed for the kids and a bath which was the upgraded room, but when we got there they told us that we didn't book this and it was an extra charge so very misleading when we booked it.
