Good location in Melbourne CBD, dated property
Good location near Chinatown in Melbourne CBD. Good blackout blinds, tea & coffee making facilities and fridge. Property quite dated and some mould in bathrooms with some historical stains on towels and bath mats. A/C works well and not too noisy. Tea bags and toiletries not replaced regularly and have to retrieve items from reception if needed. Long walks through push/pull doors from lifts to rooms. Some noise from corridors but rooms generally quite sound proof. Restaurants and bar looked good but did not use. Overall an ok stay but would probably not stay again.

Great location, it allowed us to take mid-day breaks as we walked most of the time to enjoy the city. Room was clean, but it's too far from the elevator, there weren't any stairs nearby either. Laundry was very convenient using credit card. Restaurant downstairs was nice

I love this hotel as it's right in the heart of the city, an easy walk to everything in the CBD. the room was good, very clean bathroom but a dirty mark on the carpet could have been cleaned off. good to be able to open a window for fresh air. Beautiful welcoming foyer. easy checkin.

Great location, close to shops, trams and various eating establishments. Room was tidy and clean and whilst not large had everything needed (tea & coffee facilities, shampoo & conditioner, body wash, safe & fridge). Staff were super friendly and check-in/out was a breeze. For the price even had housekeeping everyday! This is my go to place for visiting Melbourne.

GOOD: The Victoria Hotel is in an excellent location; handy for shops, cafes, trams and an easy walk to the NGV. The staff I spoke to were all friendly and helpful. NOT GOOD: My room was quite hot and even though I had the air conditioner set to 16 degrees, it never really cooled down. The basin in the bathroom was cracked and the water didn't drain away quickly so the basin would fill up after a few seconds of running the tap. The carpet was very stained. The corridor carpets on Level 7 never really looked clean ... the whole place needs updating and a really good spring clean.
