overcharged and dirty

everything seemed fine when we checked in but then we got charged a different amount than what was shown on hotels.com, was literally a 100 dollar difference. but ok get the room there was dirt all over the floor, and we lifted up the sheets to the light and there was stains all in the sheets. not very clean at all!!! never staying here again!!!!

Great location and staff very professional and helpful. Wish there were more dining options. Nice lobby bar but most people hanging out there brought their own food despite signs saying not allowed. Somewhat hard to get table service at lobby bar.

One of the worst experiences. They left us waiting for an hour for towels while we were cold in the indoor pool, and we were with our 2 year old daughter! They’ve also failed to change the door lock batteries - twice - leaving us hanging in the hallway with a 2 year old who needed to use the toilet, while being potty trained.

The best part of my stay was the Russian bartender, I can’t remember her name but she was just amazing. She gave the best service I’ve ever had at any hotel or restaurant. She made my stay so much better, thank you to her!

We had a great stay. Only issue I’d say is our hot water. Had to run it for 20 minutes to get something warm which made our sink clog up everytime. Had maintenance come to look, of course it got hot right away (maybe because I had it running for 25 mins before I called and they came up). The rooms were warm even with air blasting. Overall a good stay, the staff is so nice and helpful. Just sucked we couldn’t take even a warm shower or use any warm water.

Do you booked for a wedding party and they did not want to honor my request as I booked through a third-party once I got to the hotel they did accommodate me, but everyone was all over the hotel. They did not do the booking block as they say. Also we needed pillows and blankets for the pull out couch and we called. They said that housekeeping room service was closed and that we needed to go down and get it ourselves. That didn’t go over too well and the pool was disgusting. It had white particles floating all over it on top like mold. We went to the bar and there was one server and probably about 100 people at the bar and she was losing her mind and they finally called another person in at like midnight or maybe like 11. It was already too late. they really need to get with the program.

Could have been better

Wonderful location and real potential. The common areas are lovely and fresh feeling however, the rooms were not clean (stains on shower curtains and drapes, clumps of hair behind the trash in the bathrooms - that wasn't ours, and dust on all surfaces) and worn (couch armrests and beds were showing wear). In one of the two rooms we had, the door deadbolt didn't lock properly and the "eco-friendly" full-bottle soaps bolted to the walls, were in some cases literally half pulled out of the said wall. We won't be staying here again. Sad for a Hilton property.

To be a Hilton property it needs a lot of work. There were uncovered wires along the walls of the hallway. Mold in the shower and bathroom sink. The door to the bathroom did not close unless you lifted the door a little. I tried to iron my clothes and the iron board came apart. The wall are so thin you can hear the people next door talking.

The rooms were decently clean but felt quite outdated. The AC unit was extremely noisy. My room had windows facing the hotel hall and bar area, making it dark and dreary. The breakfast was surprisingly good and the only positive aspect of my stay. Overall, the hotel feels like a decadent building nearing the end of its lifespan. Surely it’s not worth half the daily rate they charge.

Beautiful Hilton!

This is the prettiest hilton that I have stayed at on long island! The hotel is clean and yet it is more gentle than most places for chemically sensitive people as there is a huge open lobby and there are lots of outdoor sitting/activity spaces. With so many amenities including restaurants, indoor and outdoor pools, jacuzzi, gym, tennis and basketball courts. The staff was kind & worked hard to accommodate my needs. Thanks so much for a great stay!
