The only complaints i have are the vending machine options were very limited, I would have liked a place to sit in the smoking area, and we wished there was a shuttle to Port Miami. Everything else about this property met or exceeded our expectations.

The room did not have working heat. No hot water and you had to keep flushing the toilet several times for everything to go down. Called the front desk several times with no answer. Never again will I go there!!

I actually enjoyed my stay the staff at the service desk were amazing. The reason why I gave a 1 star rating overall is when I checked out they only refunded $24.78 of my $100 deposit which I was very disappointed about. I talked to the manager at the service desk and she told me that they refunded the whole amount and I should call my bank. I called my bank and was told that only $24.78 was refunded. She refused to talk to my bank and refused to refund the rest of my deposit. That made my wonderful stay turn to trash. Also my brother stayed in the same hotel at the same time and he received his whole deposit amount at checkout. That really made my stay horrible and I’ll never stay there again nor will I ever tell anyone to stay there.

The hotel was nice and clean, and the food at the bar was amazing but very very pricey also was forced to pay 18% gratuity without being told so. At 8:45 in the morning two maids attempted to open my door without knocking. They woke me and my wife up and asked me in Spanish if I was checking out and every hour until I left at 12 noon like check out was told 2 maids kept coming trying to open the door , not knocking and asking me if I was checking out After complaining they did not do anything to accommodate us I will never stay at this hotel again due to the huge amount of privacy issues and disrespect from the work maids

I chose this location based on reputation and past experience. When we arrived at the Doubletree by Hilton. The Counter clerk made no effort to help us. She stated they were oversold and said because we used Expedia, “a third party.” I needed to contact them. We sat in the lobby and I stayed on the phone from 10 pm till 2 am. A young lady assisted us and kept me on hold a few times for at least 30 mins. Then offered me $100 credit toward my next booking. My six traveling companions slept in the lobby. Finally my sister connected with Hiltons 800 number and found us some beds. I told the Expedia agent we would take that. Even if I had to sleep in a chair She left the line, to confirm. We contacted Uber and headed over to the available rooms. The lady at the front desk said she’d spoken to Expedia but they would not book our room without a rollaway bed. By then it was 2 am. Previously, I’d called the Hilton to confirm our room that day before. No one said a word. I’d booked this room almost a year in advance because I knew the Taylor Swift concert was happening. To leave us out in the cold at the last minute was the worse hotel experience I’d ever had. I have to reimburse my friends. Due to the late hour and the little sleep we would get. I went ahead and paid for a room. They were very gracious but, this was not the way to begin our vacation. Especially, when they depended on me to make these arrangements on their behalf and each had already paid their portion for the room.

It’s a bit dated - the carpet in the room and hallways lol ok dirty and old The rooms need a facelift - the desk looks like it has layers of paint on it and the furniture looks like items at a garage sale. Something threw out

I enjoyed the easy streamlined Check in. The room was available early, and it was very clean. The only issue I had with the place is how my mother and I were treated as if we weren’t supposed to be in the hotel’s buffet for breakfast. Once we confirmed we didn’t mind paying, the attendant was still very dismissive. The buffet bar was awful, and the food that was available was dry. That being so, my mother and I opted for the omelette bar. That was the saving grace of breakfast, but it wasn’t worth the offensive $71 I paid for it.

Great lively hotel, very convenient for anyone traveling to or from Miami Airport. They have a free shuttle every 30 min to the airport. Nice lively bar on the first floor. Not one of those boring hotels you typically see near the airport. Room was very spacious, bed was very comfortable. Check-in was fast and easy, receptionist Bianca was very friendly and professional.
