I took my son on a trip his first time in Miami. I paid extra for the junior suite to have an ocean view. There was construction literally right next to our balcony. It was so noisy I could not hear my phone calls or even relax on the balcony. When I said something to reception their reply was “they don’t have to disclose since it wasn’t on the property”. A little disappointed that we couldn’t use the lounge chairs on the beach after 5pm. That’s what the resort fee is for right? It was not as relaxing as it should have been nor did the follow their model and “try to make it right”. If I would have known this I would I have definitely spent money else where.
