The smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling and beeping every 30 seconds. The room reeked of cologne and the carpets were stained. Parking area is not well lit.

When we checked in no one was there. We waited and finally had to call someone from lobby phone. Eventually someone showed up. Staff was not trained well and took forever to sign us in then had to call manager. It’s all So weird! Our carpet infront of our coffee table was gross. So spoiled with food and drinks, there was someone’s random sock under the couch…at least that is what we think it was. You could see dried up urine around the base of the toilet. We literally went out and bought cheap slippers to wear that we could throw out after. Their continental breakfast was nothing but a store bought muffin and coffee. No coffee maker in room. We asked for one. It was dirty but the front line staff couldn’t find coffee for it anyway. There was no ice or vending machine on our floor. Hotel stairs had the same big clumps of mud on them that were there for the whole weekend we were there. Never vaccuumed. We never once seen anyone housecleaning or a housecleaning cart. Never again!! Stay away!!

Check-in was good. Room was comfy, bed comfortable. bathroom clean/good BUT the carpet was horribly dirty and had multiple very obvious stains. The drawer fronts on the chest were broken & there some damages(shades). I certainly hope the people that broke the furniture were held accountable.

The unclean Beauty
You can have an amazing property and if it isn’t cleaned, or they have ‘run out’ of many of the things they offer, things are have done like no shower curtain or blanket and it effects the stay. You can also have a dated older property but the cleanliness is amazing, staff are friendly and they got above and beyond to make your stay a home away from home as much as possible. This property is very beautiful, the rooms are amazing, I’d say the best I’ve stayed in for some time but I cannot in good conscience give this place a full 5 star because of how poorly the rooms were kept. The counters were sticky and you could clearly see they weren’t wiped down, I had to call down and ask for a shower curtain and the gal said she found one left and I can come down to get it. We had a sheet an thin fleece blanket, crumbs and trash littered the sofa bed, the door handles and light switches were clearly not wiped in a long time. There was a brown splotch behind the toilet seat, it just was disappointing how unclean it was. The tubs were amazing! I absolutely loved how big they were, I liked the ice maker in the freezer but it did take a long time to get a little big of ice, and do not get me started on the carpet, a little vacuuming wouldn’t hurt. Overall a BEAUTIFUL property it just needs more attention to detail.
