Nice and close to Blarney's to dine and unwind at night. The beds are so comfortable, breakfast could be enhanced with sausage/bacon to compliment eggs. The other suggestion we have is to have the pool open to adults only after 10pm. We didn't get back until 10pm both nights and our adult kids would have appreciated being able to have access to the hot tub in the evening but the pool was already closed.

The stay itself was amazing. The breakfast was great for our family and very convenient. It was also a great hotel close to multiple shopping stores and food places. I gave 4 stars because the morning lifeguard (Sun 9/29) was very rude and acted like we were an inconvenience. We were the only ones at the pool and she had the audacity to ask if we had late check out because she had already been out of the pool multiple times and hadn’t even been watching over the slide but for 15 minutes. It opened at 9 am and she was ready leave at 11 am. She came in with a nasty attitude and acted like she didn’t even want to be there. She argued with me about my son’s ability to swim after one time of him going down the slide. At one point she was on the phone in the lobby area and was rolling her eyes watching the pool. When she came back in she was angrily cleaning tables and pushing chairs into tables. I highly suggest to this young woman to find a place of business that she enjoys working or come with a better attitude.

Staying in Mitchell ... skip this hotel.

We decided to drive an extra 2 hours to make it to this hotel because of the waterslide. We will not be back! The pool and slide were dangerous. The lifeguard sat in her chair, no whistle, no lifesaving equipment and didn't enforce any of the rules that were listed on the wall of the aquatic area. After my son got ran over at the end of the slide, I asked her why she wasn't enforcing the posted rules. She said that if she enforces the rules all the parents complain to her manager and she gets in trouble. If this is true, the manager should be ashamed. Its a lot easier to enforce rules than having to perform first aid on injured kids.
