Very friendly and efficient check-in staff. Room was clean and well supplied. Only bummer was that the room was hot and there was no air conditioner. We had to open the windows to cool the room down but that let in the noise from the traffic along Pacific Ave.

Room smelled musty and needs updating. Also housekeeping was in our room before we checked out that morning after returning from breakfast! All we got was a sorry about that. Price is good for a downtown location but you get a very average room for a junior suite.

Clean, good size room but average for the money
Large room with "balcony" but no natural light because it overlooked a wall. The hotel is fine - clean and a good size for a junior suite, but a little rundown (broken remote for TV, broken fireplace, chipped tiles and leaky shower faucet). You can hear every footstep and conversation through the ceiling. You have to request maid service and we had to call a couple of times to get towels, but the staff was friendly. The fireplace was broken so they comped our parking ($22/day), which we really appreciated. The free continental breakfast was also a plus.

Convenient location and spacious room. We took 2 small dogs and had a patio on the ground floor. Patio was just dirt and cement. And was on a busy street. There were stairs next to the room so we could hear people tromping up and down at all hours.

Great location near old fisherman’s wharf. We went for a quick one night stay so it was perfect. I love staying at a different Monterey hotel until we find out forever one… our room was near the busy street and you could hear traffic/trucks going down the street. That’s probably the only thing I would do for next time, request one away from the street … although my children slept through it all!

The rooms very large and nice amd enjoyed having a fireplace inside your room, but there was crumbs on the carpet and found hair on the sink. The parking is great but they charge $22.00 per day. The breakfast was free but there was hardly any options, not very good. The front desk personal was very polite and attentive.

It was a cozy Spanish style place in a great location next to Fisherman’s Wharf. Rooms were much bigger than expected with a nice fireplace. It had a paid parking but you can easily find parking spots in street in front of the hotel. Breakfast was basic.

Pros & Cons (frist time staying at Pacific Hotel) CONs- It's a bit noises. Not only could I hear the guest above and below, but the air plans sounded like I was staying at the airport.There is also a water fountain that is pertty loud if you have a room facing the courtyard. Although staff were delightful, breakfast was ok. Parking-for the price of rooms, I do feel like parking should be included. PROs- Great Location! Walking distance to downtown, old and new fisherman, as well as Canary Row. Very clean and located in a safe area. Housekeeping very kind, attentive and quick to respond to request (extra pillows/towels, robs for spa). Would stay again if prices drop or have they have special.
