A nice little motel for a great price. The rooms were on the smaller side but nicely upgraded. The manager was very pleasant and had a great overnight stay while visiting family in the area.

The room was small, but clean. The bathroom light was outside of the bathroom and behind the door, so you had to turn it on, blast light into the room, and then go in. It wasn't very convenient at all. The floor had a definite slant to it and felt as if you were walking downhill. Our key card didn't work the first night we came back from dinner, so I went to the office to get it taken care of. There was nobody in the office, but there was a phone to call and get someone to help you. Nobody answered the phone, so I went back to our car and texted the owner for assistance. I never got a reply. A few minutes later, I walked back up to the office to see if the clerk returned. The person in there, must have been the owner, was very irritated that I texted and called, saying that he was only gone for a few minutes. His reaction was rude and enough to make me not want to stay here again. Beware that there isn't always somebody on the premises and that if you require assistance, they may be annoyed with you. I'm sure he wasn't annoyed with the money I spent there. Plus side - it's close to Black Canyon of the Gunnison.

Good for a quick inexpensive stay
Was needing a place for 1 noght and didnt want to spend too much. For an inexpensive and quick overnight stay the motel was nice and we were happy with the property.

Stayed here for two nights while exploring Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP. The place is near several restaurants. The room is cozy; nice flooring, comfortable bed, the place looks renovated. The bathroom is tightly-spaced; but it wasn't too much of an issue. The staff was courteous and willing to switch out our old towels with new ones. I really enjoyed my stay; and if I ever decide to visit the area again, I would book a room without hesitation.

Cute little place worth the price
Its a great option for an amazing price. Very comfortable bed and decent size room. Each room has a little patio set out front. Good options for breakfast. Very cute fire pit area and very walkable options for dinner. Overall worth the price.

When we first arrived, the property looked somewhat sketchy. However, the hostess Cara immediately made us feel welcome and cared for. She made herself immediately available for the few questions we had, all as she was busy turning over other rooms. The motel had been undergoing upgrades and we really appreciated some of the nice improvements. The next morning, the hostess Trish made us also feel very welcome at breakfast. We highly recommend these two wonderful ladies. Our experience definitely causes us to recommend this motel!
