Multi-generational get-away
We booked X-8 for our family to have some time together, 4 generations under 1 roof for a week, and it worked out really well!! The location of the house allows quick access to the pool, store, & restaurant. Walkable if you really want to.
Tip: Definitely invest in the golf cart. It's hard enough to find parking for a golf cart at times in the community, there is practically NO parking for full-size vehicles other than at your rental.
Our trip was just after Labor Day, so we were at the tail end of the season and I am going to guess that's why the house was in need of a good deep cleaning. We had a young one with us that was crawling and his knees were just as dirty crawling on the carpet in the living room as they were on the deck outside. The cleaning crew did a great job of cleaning the obvious places such as bathrooms, kitchen, tile floors that you can see from the doorway. But I had to physically move 2 of the beds away from the wall in order to get the sheets on and I found all sorts of goodies; cheap jewelry, nail polish, food wrappers, etc.
Everything in the house functioned as it should. An issue w/golf cart was taken care of promptly when we contacted the property managers.
We made good use of the outdoor hang-out under the house and loved that there was a little fridge and even a toilet & sink down there as well. Overall a great place for a fun stay!
