We like to stay at VRBO rental properties since we are travelling with a family and it is nice to stay in a house rather than a hotel room. This unit, however, is not a separate property instead it shares doors and walls with another unit. One of the bedrooms has a door the leads to the laundry room for the campers which meant it was very noisy being woken up at 10 pm and 7 am. There was insulation that was taped to a door I believe in hope it would help prevent some noise from the adjoining unit. We discovered unsafe electrical issues as well. We were travelling with a service animal and were demanded to pay a pet fee which is against the law and also VRBO's policy. The unit say's is sleeps 4 however it only contains enough plates, dishes, cups etc for 3 people. We were exploring the area so we were not able to visit the office to fix this. When I mentioned it during a phone call she did not offer to bring any supplies by. Any communication from the property manager was very rude. We recieved phone calls and text messages demanding we pay a pet fee. I had already previously communicated with the owner that we had a service dog and there was no mention of a fee until check in. We left the property 2 days earlier and have had no communication with them since even though we asked for a refund. Do yourself a favour and stay at a hotel as it would be cheaper. This unit has some potential. I would suggest they update the description and disclose the correct information. However, as a parent I did not feel comfortable that the property could be assessed by outside doors. I have never in the 10 years I have had my service dog been treated so poorly.
