Hotel needs updating. Carpets have seen better days. Shower something from the 60s . Bed not great . Plus side good staff . I’d think hard about staying again .

Hotel which has no elevator and still 3star
Pros: location, price, 24x7 front desk and helping hand of moving luggage. cash payment at hotel desk. So it depends on individual people situation to consider as pros or cons. Cons: no elevator in the building, no coffee machine, no microwave, no refrigerator, no iron, no paper cups or any kind of utensils in the hotel. Very small bathroom and room. If you traveling with not so heavy luggage and for few days, this is the place. Otherwise don't even think about going here.

Great Location but beware no elevator!
This is the kind of hotel that you get what you pay for. If you have any issues with stairs (there is no elevator in the hotel) ask to have a room on the first floor, you'll still have to climb 2 sets of stairs to get to the first floor, but I think the hotel has 4 or 5 floors, so you get the picture. It was basic accomodation, clean, and in a great area in the lower east side with plenty of restaurants, groceries, open late, even a 24 hour pizzeria and snack shop attached to the hotel. I would definitely stay there again, but be aware of the stairs/lack of elevator situation.

I had a great stay here, it is an old building so I expected it to be "lived in" but it was spotlessly clean and the room was a good size, bed clean and comfortable. I did have trouble with the temperature in the shower, but I got there in the end...I would recommend this hotel for it's price, area, cleanliness and very helpful staff. Oh and grab a slice or two from the place downstairs....it hits the spot.

We came for 4 nights, and mostly just needed a place to sleep and keep our luggage. The hotel is perfect for that and the rooms reflect that. Beds were a good size, staff were really helpful and kind to us. The only concern is that the floor in the rooms are not clean. They have carpet floors and there was dirt on them and under the beds. Housekeeping does go around daily to change sheets and towels, but it doesn't look like the floors/rooms get vacuumed. However, we would stay here again! We paid just under $700 for 4 nights which was an absolute bargain and we were pleased with what we got. The area around it is great, with loads of bars, restaurants and easy transport links. Saturday and Friday nights are good fun and there's a 24hr restaurant/takeaway place right underneath the hotel serving a range of NY deli foods. Highly recommend if you're looking to travel on a budget!!!

Ok hotel at best.
Its a nice centrally located hotel, but its a dive. Very basic, shower was pathetic, and matress was a brick. Good for location and to sleep, but if you can comfortably afford the extra for another hotel, book it.

Property was outdated and old. However, location was amazing good ambiance during day, kinda sketchy at night. Lots of walkable delicious food options. Subway entrance was down the street. Staff was really friendly.
