Hotel in a very good location and very good price. We expected that for such a price we would not get too much and it was enough for a 6-day stay. It would be nice if the hotel took care of the ventilation of the bathrooms, because mold collects in the showers, added hair dryers so that you do not have to take your own and took care of the windows through which the noise from the street or the courtyard with air conditioners is very loud. I recommend it but keep in mind that you will only get a bed and a bathroom, so it is good to go sightseeing in the morning and come back in the evening to sleep.

The staff at the front desk were great; the rooms could do with freshening up but were clean. There are no lifts, so please be aware. The right price point for me, so overall satisfied.

A good value option to be in a convent location in NYC. The hotel is old and tired, but it is all facilities function okay and it is clean and the staff helpful.

Nice location. Dining below the hotel is open 24 hours. Hotel does not have an elevator and the staircase is very steep. We managed to carry the suitcases up. Payment is cash only. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cheap, convenient for sightseeing, basic, and friendly. If your just after a room for exploring new York this is perfect but is basic hence why it's fairly cheap.

Hotel needs updating. Carpets have seen better days. Shower something from the 60s . Bed not great . Plus side good staff . I’d think hard about staying again .

Hotel which has no elevator and still 3star
Pros: location, price, 24x7 front desk and helping hand of moving luggage. cash payment at hotel desk. So it depends on individual people situation to consider as pros or cons. Cons: no elevator in the building, no coffee machine, no microwave, no refrigerator, no iron, no paper cups or any kind of utensils in the hotel. Very small bathroom and room. If you traveling with not so heavy luggage and for few days, this is the place. Otherwise don't even think about going here.

Great Location but beware no elevator!
This is the kind of hotel that you get what you pay for. If you have any issues with stairs (there is no elevator in the hotel) ask to have a room on the first floor, you'll still have to climb 2 sets of stairs to get to the first floor, but I think the hotel has 4 or 5 floors, so you get the picture. It was basic accomodation, clean, and in a great area in the lower east side with plenty of restaurants, groceries, open late, even a 24 hour pizzeria and snack shop attached to the hotel. I would definitely stay there again, but be aware of the stairs/lack of elevator situation.
