Great hotel near Herald Square
Our stay at The Gregorian was lovely. It was conveniently located, near Herald Square. Everything is within walking distance. Subway, LIRR, Amtrak, Pharmacy and places to eat. The staff at the Gregorian were all so friendly and welcoming. Always willing to help out. Special thanks to Milady at the front desk and Edgar the doorman! They even sent a bottle of wine to our room. What a special touch. We would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend this boutique hotel.

This hotel is an intimate boutique hotel. Gorgeous... But the restaurant was not item yet and no bar. Went across the street to several options... Door man Edgers the young man Michael were so friendly and have suggestions where to go! They kept our bags for us and got us an early check in when we came from another hotel also Jasmine was very talkative and satisfied all our questions at check-in Brian was great also! Bathroom was a little small and no counter space but the room was so pretty! Highly recommend

STOP your search now and book this hotel!!! We have had the best time staying at the Gregorian 💕 The staff were amazing -a BIG thank you to Edgar who greeted and cared for us every day! Another big thank you to Michael who also was super helpful. This is a great apartment in the perfect location in mid town New York. I would highly recommend this hotel and the wonderful staff that deeply care about you having a great time. We will definitely rebook when we return to NYC 🇺🇸🗽

Good Location
This hotel is very nicely located for things in midtown and the subway, however for the price the rooms were a little run down. We only had one lamp in our room and one bedside table (for a king bed), one of the roman shades was mostly broken and strangely the crown molding was about 7 inches from the ceiling. It sorta seemed like they weren't quite finished setting up the room but they rented it out anyway? It was weird. It was quiet though and the bed was comfy and the shower had good pressure.

Despite renovation and double paned windows, the street noise of midtown Manhattan seeps through. I had to wear earplugs to sleep, though in fairness I am a light sleeper. The toilet is placed in an awkward position, and the lighting in the bathroom could be better. I would not stay here again.

The property has bed bugs. I was given an upgrade after finding bed bugs in the pillows, and when I moved to a different room I found a dead bed bug under the fitted sheet. It is obvious the place needs fumigation. The person at reception was also quite hostile when I told them, not acting surprise at all but also getting defensive when I decided I wanted to check out given the situation. I’ve been fully refunded by Expedia, but the Gregorian still charged me for city tax ($43) and would not refund it even though I checked out an hour later.
