Good value for money. The only issue I had was that my window was towards they done outside of the building where the smoke and smell the street restaurant wasn't pleasant as I believe they're cooking exhausted exactly to this space. Very good location

I don’t even know where to start, but this property should not be listed on Hotels.com as this property is filthy, unsafe and not acceptable accommodation for business travelers. Upon arrival, there were series of stone steps that were narrow, to get into the lobby, which made it very challenging when traveling with suitcases. There was no one available to help you in and out of the hotel, there are no ramps, and It is not ADA accessible. It gets worse. The lobby looked a little trashed, but in New York, usually you let that slide because their entrances are on very busy streets and it is difficult to keep lobbies clean, but the rooms, the rooms were unbelievable. To consider any of these rooms appropriate to stay in is a gross oversight on hotel.com‘s vetting process. Upon leaving the elevator, the hallway smelled antiseptic like alcohol and not in a good way, more like they had just removed bodily fluids. The room had frayed and dirty carpets, with stains and splatter marks on the walls, mold in the bathroom, incredibly outdated, like 1960s, fixtures but as if it is never been cleaned since the 60s and the interior smelled like a combination of stale air and mold, but not cleaning supplies because it truly was not cleaned. The second room was marginally better than the first but only a little. This one had gnats and towels that had other people’s hair on them and not just head hair. It smelled, still had splatters and stains on the walls but no visible mold.

The property was very quiet. The staff and the hotel amenities were great. The area is around a lot of entertainment and restaurants. The only downside was no microwave. I’d book this hotel again 10/10

Pricey!
Great location! Paid extra for a Deluxe queen room but was given the smallest, terrible room! 2 small windows (one cracked with tape holding it together) Hotel was sold out. Had to upgrade to a Deluxe King bed room $25 USD a night. Again room was NOTHING like displayed in pics. Fridge request upon availability for a one time fee of $25. Wasn’t charged though due to upgrade paid. Front desk staff friendly and helpful. Appears Queen beds back of building and Kings front. Attached pic is our original “Deluxe Room”

Vomit on stairs to entry, Flattest pillow ever. Alarm clock was on so from a previous guest so we were woken up hours early. Burnt my hand on the water. Hall smells weird. This is simultaneously the most I’ve paid for a room and the worst room I’ve stayed in in NYC. Will not be back. On the plus, AC works.

The rooms are very outdated and very small. Some of the equipment in the tiny gym does not work. The furnishings and fixtures are extremely outdated. I would not recommend this hotel. Its sister property Life Hotel is a much better experience.
