We have stayed here before and loved it, but this time was less appealing. Our room had some wear and tear. Couch was shabby and in need of replacement, and bathroom door handle kept falling off. But my biggest complaint was that we ordered food from the lounge and it was horrible. We paid almost $70 for a small burnt pizza and soggy wings. I complained to the hotel hoping they would make it right, but they simply thanked me for my feedback. Location is great but I may look into other options next visit.

I chose this hotel because of its convenient location, but I was delighted that everything about the hotel exceeded my expectations. Well done! If I travel to NYC again this will be my preferred hotel.

Beware of the completely unjustfied hudden USD 500 holding charge which is sprung upon you at check in when it is too late to cancel. Absolutely outrageous for a hotel which offers no additional services. And cleaning staff who walk straight into the room without knocking at 9am.

I loved this property. The only drawback was the expensive breakfast and the fact that I couldn’t get a free cup of coffee in the morning! Free coffee in the afternoon was a nice perk.

Our stay at The Manhattan Club was pleasant. We had a one bedroom suite which was very spacious. Our daughter had a comfortable sofa bed in the lounge room and there was a bonus 2nd bathroom for her. The rooms are quite dated though and furnishings are starting to look a little shabby. A couple of the dining chairs were actually threadbare and the glass table lent to one side. They advertise these suites as having a kitchenette but there is no kettle and no toaster. When we enquired about these items they said toasters aren't provided due to th being a fire risk and no kettles because there is a coffee machine provided. If you want a cup of tea, you have to boil water in the microwave, which is not ideal. Other than that, we had a good 7 night stay.
