Great Location
Location was great Check in and check out was quick. Custmer service reps in the ofiice were very friendly. Had to tidy up a bit when i got in the condo and had to call the office to get linen service.

Overall, we had a great stay. We always enjoy our time in NMB. The building is nice and parking is easy. The unit updates in the kitchen and bathrooms are really nice. The balcony is amazing! The beds were not comfortable. They definitely need replaced.

Fabulous Getaway Condo - fix guest shower
Xanadu II unit 403 was exactly as depicted in the listing. Balcony with oceanfront views and access from both bedrooms and the living area. Both bedrooms had king beds and the main living area and kitchen were comfortable and well-appointed. The beds were above average for a rental and the balcony was exceptional! There were candy wrappers on the floor in one of the bedrooms and the shower faucets in the guest bath did not work properly - so wondered how well the unit was cleaned by the cleaning crew. The aforementioned shower faucets turned out to be quite stressful as when we went to take a shower we could not get the water to turn back off. We were eventually able to use a penny to tighten the screw to get the water off and called the PM to have it repaired. They sent someone next day while we were out. They left a note stating there was not a problem - just turn knob a quarter turn on and quarter turn off. Tried it and had the same problem. Called PM and they sent maintenance who said that it would be up to the homeowner whether to repair the shower. We effectively lost the use of one of the showers for the duration of our stay. We really did love this condo and would stay there again. I hope for future guests the guest shower is properly repaired - not just band-aided again.

Freedom from House Arrest
We had a relaxing time in North Myrtle Beach. Apart from Easter weekend the beaches were very quiet, and not many guests were staying in the building. The condo was clean, well stocked, and a gift bag with paper towels, toilet paper, and trash bags was provided. We had brought our own supplies, but we added two dozen coat hangers to the bag when we left. The furnishings were adequate but need updating. The bed was uncomfortable so we purchased a mattress topper so we could sleep. The views from the balcony and living room are spectacular. The TV’s are older models, none are smart TVs so forget about streaming from your laptop or devices. If you have HDMI or RCA cable adapters that might work. The WiFi is unsecured and shared, so with multiple users the bandwidth drops significantly. We have VPN which provided security for going online. We had great weather for April, water in pool and ocean still too cold to swim and a sweatshirt needed for walking along the beach in the mornings and evenings. Overall we enjoyed our stay in MB.

What a wonderful building to have a beach vacation! My sister can only walk short distances and the handicap parking was about 20 ft. to the elevator. She navigated very, very well and we were both so pleased with unit 403. The balcony was enormous with the beach so close you felt you could touch the water. Love, loved it all! Will return soon.
