Planning a Martha's Vineyard getaway with your friends and loved ones? You can't go wrong with this charming first-floor studio condo! Part of the Island Inn community, this cozy condo includes access to three Har-Tru clay tennis courts and a shared outdoor pool, not to mention all of the usual home comforts.

Island Inn offers easy access to everything, including golfing and, most importantly, several local beaches within a short distance. Oak Bluffs sits a little more than a mile north and boasts numerous shopping and dining options, in case you need a break from the sand and surf. There are also several nature preserves nearby, perfect for a leisurely hike, a picnic, or some birdwatching.

With one bedroom, a second sleeping area, and room for up to six guests, this Martha's Vineyard vacation rental is great for small families or a few friends. In nice weather, relax on the patio while you chow down on some barbecue - there's a shared grilling area that's perfectly suited to the task. The well-appointed kitchen can handle all your other meal-preparation needs, thanks to the full-size fridge, the electric two-burner stove, and the microwave. The kitchen includes silverware, plates, cups, cooking pans, and utensils. Cable TV and WiFi add convenience during your stay.

Other amenities include shared washers/dryers, a picnic and barbecue area, as well as a firepit area. Tennis courts, plus racquets, and ball rentals are available at the Pro Shop. Tennis is available from May 15th through October. The seasonal pool is guaranteed to be open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. There is also a lovely on-site restaurant that is unaffiliated with the Island Inn.

The fireplace is not operational.
One of the sleeping spaces is a semi-enclosed sleeping space, separated from the living room by a half-wall. It is not a full bedroom.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Clean and convenient
This was a great convenient location is directly on the MVTA bus route so very easy to get around the island if traveling with no car. The grounds are set back from the main road so no noticeable street noise. Also walkable to Oak Bluffs and larger beaches if you don’t mind a 20-30 minute walk. Very clean and efficient layout to the unit, staff were helpful. Extra towels and linens were provided. There is a nice restaurant/bar next door for a quick bite or a drink and some music. Only real downside No Coffee provided in the unit!! There is a coffee maker and filters so you will need to bring your own beans! Groceries are not available in the immediate area so plan ahead of you travel without a vehicle. This spot might be better suited for groups of adults vs young families due to the party vibes around the bar next door. But everything quieted down by 10 pm. Overall pleasant spot, relatively affordable, no regrets!!

Back bedroom had no climate control so super warm and stuffy.
We got in and found that there was no hot water. They did not fix it until 10 am the next day. We had to go to another unit to shower. The kitchen area was VERY small and not easily accessed since the mani bathroom door was off the kitchen. The bathrooms were very small and had no space for anything. The carpet was old and needed replacing. Overall, we had a bed to sleep in but not a great unit and again, no hot water for the first day so it was like camping. We had to bring our shower stuff to another unit. Just not great.

A good value at MV
The property was as described. It’s conveniently between Edgartown and Oak Bluffs, while quiet and secluded on ample grounds. Kids can easily bike to the ‘Jaws bridge’ to jump and swim. The pool and pool deck were clean and in good repair. Most mornings we had it to ourselves, even though the Inn seemed fairly full. Tennis courts were also good condition and lightly used. We asked for early check in. The front desk manager couldn’t have been nicer. Got it cleaned and available 4 hours early. The suite is efficiently laid out, with just enough kitchen and family room for a family of four, even if it rains and you’re cooped up for a bit. The half bath off the separate bedroom was nice to have. One minor consideration is AC. There is a large, through-wall air conditioner in the family room. But since the single bedroom is furthest from it, you wouldn’t want to leave the door closed all day in July or August. Better to run the AC on high during the day and keep the overhead fan going on low at night. There is nice restaurant adjacent to the Inn: Nomans. It has a big patio and a large lawn for the kids to play games while you have a drink or dinner, as well as nightly acoustic guitar performers. Would happily stay at Island Inn again.
