Come "nest" in our tree top condo atop the 100 foot cliffs at Cape Foul Weather, Otter Rock , Oregon. The condo has a master suite with it's private deck and entry, that will be your home away from home. The suite has the corner ocean view that many say makes their stay totally awesome. Our beach is considered one of the most beautiful tidal pool areas on the Oregon coast. Added information.... 7/27/2021....This property is on the upper level and with the tree top view you will have pathways and stairs to get from the guest parking to the unit. (I've edited this description to make note for guest who may have heath issues or would have a problem doing some walking up and down on the property) The effort is truly worth the location on the ocean.....
Sit by the 20 foot windows and watch the ocean waves crash below you. Watch seals rest daily on the rocks and the whales feed in the kelp beds. You have a full view of all that is going on here. Sit on the deck and watch the waves explode on the lava cliffs. You can sit on your private decks to watch the eagles fly by everyday.
The property sits on 35 acres of old growth rain forest right on the ocean. We have for your enjoyment a heated pool, hot Tub, and saunas. The property has Tennis courts and a basketball court as well to have fun with your entire family. Our restaurant is open for take out at this time. Open Thursday through Sunday. Many brides and grooms have had their weddings on the grounds. We have a large convention rooms to provides receptions and business meetings. For the business minded our internet is high speed to help you stay in touch if you must.
The property is so beautiful with 45 year old "Rhoddies" that bloom every spring and into the summer. We have a garden area with every kind of flower to photograph year round. This is paradise on the Oregon Coast! We are located 8 miles north of Newport and 4 miles south of Depoe Bay. You'll be right in the middle of all the great activities going on everyday on the Oregon coast. Miles and miles of beaches, trails to hike. City and country lifestyles all rolled up in one place. Beautiful views
Beautiful views wonderful heated pool and beach access. The hike up the hill is long but not difficult. Jst be ready for it we had our own wagon to help. They had sand toys for the kids which was also awesome. The coffee was the main complaint the packets were not enough for a pot. But that is minor and didnt ruin the stay.

Really bad experience
The owner of the place is unprofessional and not responsible. She didn't send me the code to open the house and she didn't have anyone to receive me. I sent her a message through the website and waited more than half an hour and nothing. When I finally found her phone number, it didn't work and was deactivated. I was very tired from the trip and didn't want to wait any longer. The good thing was that there was a resort right there and I was able to rent another small emergency room.

The stay at Ellen's unit at Otter Rock was great for my family of 4. The room was great for our needs for a few days - we used the fridge and the microwave and took advantage of the available plates, silverware, cups and some of the beach toys for gathering cool rocks. The property is really fun - we took advantage of the pool every day (love that the hot tub is adults only!), played on the beach and in the tidepools, played pingpong, and walked the super short distance to the little "town" of Otter Rock and the stairs to Beverly Beach. Great, easy stay.

Perfect location
Ellen's unit at The Inn at Otter Crest was wonderful. The room was clean, fully stocked with necessities and the location was wonderful. the kids swam, played in the activity center and we talked along the tide pools below the property. on top of all of this, Ellen was a fabulous host! Thank you, we will be back!

You’ll get your steps in…but worth it!
Ellen (host) was so kind! Greeted us upon arrival and showed us around. A lot of uphill walking and stairs to get to the room, but it was comfy and clean (albeit a little dated & some minor repairs needed). Kitchenette is minimal, but we didn’t need to cook. Beautiful view from the balcony! Saw whales & seals, just where we were told they would be! The Inn grounds are beautifully landscaped, and the quaint Spyglass restaurant has yummy food! Their GF veggie pizza was actually quite impressive, as was my whiskey stone sour drink. So many beautiful sights within a short walk or drive! It was a quick getaway for us, but just what we needed. Definitely would consider going back!

Can’t get any more beautiful
Beautiful stay here. It’s very high up with no elevator but so worth it if you are able. The view is spectacular and the area is close to Newport where you can visit the seals and the lighthouse and beautiful grounds. It’s like living in the forest here, we loved it.

Annual anniversary getaway
First time at this property but won't be the last. Beautiful grounds and views. Many things to do on site and short walks to beach and town of Otter Rock. Also short drives to Newport, Depoe Bay or Lincoln City. We loved our stay.

This was our second time staying here and it was just as nice as the first. The condo has everything you need for a getaway. The views are incredible! Beautiful condo with magical view!
We loved our time at this condo! The host was so nice, and met us exactly when planned. She also was nice enough to help us carry our luggage up to the condo. We spent our whole stay on the property. There were so many things to do! My favorite part was watching sunset from the balcony. Seeing the whales and seals was a highlight for my son.

The view was incredible! From our high viewpoint we could enjoy the ocean, in a spot where whale watching boats came, as well as lush tree covered hills and birds. Walk to Devils Punchbowl and amazing tide pools, etc. The suite was comfortable and had all that we needed. Ellen is kind and helpful. A great stay.

This property largely surpassed our expectations. The property is beautiful with access to a nice quiet beach. The room overlooks the ocean with amazing sunsets. The kids loved the pool. Beautiful property!
We were amazed at the beautiful landscaping at the Otter Crest condo community! The ocean view was good from the private balcony. The location is wonderful. Close to Depoe Bay for whale watching and you can walk to Devils Punch Bowl from the property at low tide! The halibut sandwich at Mo's Restaurant at the top of Devil's Punch Bowl is great! The condo unit was clean and modern. There is even a gas grill on the grounds for guests to use. Ellen took good care of us and gave us a lot of information about the area. She was readily available to answer our questions.

We absolutely loved our stay at Ellen’s property. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area at check-in and helped us get the bags to the room and show us where everything was. We wandered up a path to the room through all the beautiful flowers on the property. So pretty! This was a work-around from the stairs if stairs are not for you. It was just the two small staircase up to the room. The room was clean and had everything we needed for our weekend. Having the restaurant on site was also great after a long drive. Super convenient to grab dinner. The beds were very comfortable, but waking up to the spectacular view was everything! We saw sea lions playing in the afternoon and whales feeding on the keep in the morning. The beach was fantastic; we loved looking in the tide pools when the tide went out. And being able to explore Devils Punchbowl was also incredible. I honestly don’t have anything bad to say about our stay. We had a wonderful time! Thank you Ellen for sharing your place with us!

Lovely view, great location, just as described
We were very pleased. The condo was exactly as described, with just a phenomenal view. Wonderful tide pools and a state Marine Garden on the beach below; we walked into Devil's Punchbowl and saw sea urchins, sea stars, anemones, and sea lions, and had a day at the Oregon Coast Aquarium. As noted in the description, there isn't a kitchen (there's a microwave and small fridge), but food can be ordered from the on-site restaurant. Beds were comfortable, and space was clean. Also note that the condo is at about the highest point on the property (which makes for a great view and was a selling point to us) but that you'll need to bring you luggage up by foot - we didn't find this to be an issue, and were helped by the gracious host, but older folks/persons with disabilities should be aware of this (again, this is all in the description). An absolutely lovely property, sea and old growth forest, and a great value.

The location was everything! The grounds are stunning, the access to the small semi-private beach was easy and I can’t rave enough about the view from the balcony of Ellen’s suite. The suite is on the smallish side with a separate bathroom and only a microwave plus mini fridge in the large entry closet. So don’t plan on doing any cooking. The pool was very nice. You will surely get your steps in if you stay here-you get lots of exercise no matter where you go. But that was fine with us. Ellen was an excellent host-offering to help with our luggage or anything we needed or wanted to know! She even had a wagon to help bring our luggage to the suite😊
