My husband and 3 kids and I arrived very late at night after driving 8 hours from the panhandle, and when we got inside the place wreaked of cigarette smoke. Luckily, I had packed my own Lysol wipes and Febreeze, but we still had to sleep with the windows open to air the place out. There were very few towels for showers, no toilet paper except 1 roll in 1 of the bathrooms, and there was someone else's hair balls left in the bathtub, and also no pillowcases on the pillows...I had to find some in the linen closet at 2 am and put them on.
After getting up in the morning, we found that the pool was absolutely filthy and unusable (greenish water, black dirt on the bottom, and an oily film across the top of the water) the floors inside the house were so dirty that they turned our feet black, there was bags of trash piled up on the side of the house, ground up food and dirt in the rugs, dead bugs in the corners, crumbs and cup rings on the glass table. We got in touch with the management company and they sent someone to clean while we were out, but they did literally NOTHING. The house looked exactly the same when we got back, except that the alarm was set so we knew someone had been there.
I bought my own cleaning supplies and cleaned the house, and we borrowed towels and pillows from the family that we were in town visiting. The kids were very disappointed in not being able to use the pool, and I was not happy about it either because we paid extra to be able to have a pool for the kids to play in.
We are in Clermont every other month visiting family (it's our hometown and we just moved away last year) and we were hoping that we'd finally found a comfortable, affordable, convenient place to stay when we come back for visits, but we were so disappointed and will not ever stay here or use Eagle Management again.
It was such a waste of our time and money.
