Made our dream Disney holiday possible!

We liked staying here! We stayed here for 3weeks in July 2009. We wanted to do all the Disney parks and universal parks and knew we needed more than two weeks! This hotel/motel allowed us to do the 3week holiday as it was cheap!!! We were a little worried before going as some of reviews weren't too good but we knew we wouldn't hardly be there so we weren't too bothered! And if you also think that then this is a great place to stay. If you are looking for a luxury hotel then THIS IS NOT IT! We only got ready there and slept there! Staff were very nice, kind and helpful. Hotel room was spacious - which is a luxury as a lot of the more modern hotels have TINY rooms. This room did feel more like an apartment. Had a wardrobe , lots or drawers, a big sofa, chairs , kitchen with microwave, cooker rings, coffee maker, toaster, huge fridge and a freezer plus silverware, plates etc. , good size iron board and iron and hairdryer! Shampoo, soap , toilet paper and washing up liquid was provided. Bath towels were quite small but they did the job. Cleaning service once a week which ain't too great I guess and re-stock and new towels twice a week. MAJOR POSITIVE - LOCATION - brilliant location- though you do need a car! Negatives>- The place did smell a bit - kind of damp smell but got people cooking , air con , and showers in the rooms so it's no wonder.No pool but we were never at the hotel during the day. It's not the cleanest place in the world and I wouldn't want to stay there a long time. -------------------------------------------------- I would recommend this to PEOPLE LOOKING FOR SOMEWHERE CHEAP THAT THEY DON'T REALLY MIND IF THE TOWELS AREN'T HUGE! AND ARE HAPPY TO HAVE MORE MONEY TO SPEND ON DISNEY ETC. Location is great, right on SandLake - go right - 2miles(maybe less) to Florida Mall and loads of restaurants e.g. tgi friday, taco bell, chilis etc. Turn left - less than mile - Super walmart, mcdonalds, dennys, logan's steakhouse, dunkin donuts, wendys plus much more. Then roads to disney and universal and int drive are all off sandlake road!!! Very close to international airport! Brill! Next time we will prob look into one of the Disney resorts or hotels in disney area - as can get buses etc so would save on car rental - but we enjoyed the freedom of a car- eg for going to the space coast etc. Hope this helps! We would stay here again if the prica was right! This was the chjeapest we could find!
