Beautiful but too many hiccups...very frustrated.
Our check-in did not go smoothly as I had my VRBO confirmation but no Marriott confirmation number. After over an hour of hearing from Marriott that I was not confirmed and trying to get in touch with the owner, Marriott somehow finally found my name in the system. The pictures of the condo showing in the VRBO advertisement clearly indicated that the condo was on the first floor over looking the golf course. We ended up on the third floor over looking one tee box, a field and a manufacturing park village across the the street. During our stay we had a bee infestation on our terrace. Literally thousands of bees were nesting in the wood on our terrace. Marriott called an exterminator and had to destroy the bees. When we returned to our room after 18 holes of golf the next day, none of our key cards worked. After staying outside for 30 minutes Security came and said they are having problems with their software program. We were let into the room but it took 2 hours to receive new access cards to our room. We missed our dinner reservation that night. It is a shame because The Enclaves is a beautiful place and the unit was clean and well taken care of. There were just too many hiccups that left a bad taste in our mouths.

Great weekend getaway
The quick trip to Palm Desert was enjoyable. The unit was clean and well-appointed. Had some challenges with obtaining keys that opened the adjoining room but were addressed by front desk personnel quickly the second time reported.
