Upon arrival, the property was very dirty. The balcony hadn't been swept, there were chips everywhere, the table was disgusting, and some furniture was broken. Inside we found clothing from the guests before, the kitchen trash was full, the floors were very gross, and everything had to be cleaned. There were chip crumbs on the table and in the chairs. We also rolled the rug because it was so gross. When I reached out to the property manager, he was very nice and I sent pictures. Unfortunately, he didn't respond after the pictures were sent. Someone from Emerald coast also called me after I left a voicemail and the girl I was talking to was very understanding and nice as well. They offered to send a cleaning crew the following day, but at that point, we went to the store-bought supplies and cleaned the condo ourselves. It was very disappointing to arrive after a 12 hour drive and have to clean the condo ourselves. I think at the very least our cleaning fee should've been refunded. However, we never heard back from anyone else after the first day. I didn't push the issue anymore, because I let it go and moved on with our vacation. In general, once we got past the cleaning issue, we had a great time. The pool is amazing, the condo itself is new and pretty nice, the beds were comfortable, and everything else was enjoyable. We loved the easy access to the beach, tiki bars, live music and everything else the condo had to offer. The cafe and restaurant were added bonuses! Even with the cleaning issues, we would return to this complex. The amenities were great and the location was awesome. I would recommend staying here, just be sure to be prepared for the cleaning issues.
