I was not crazy about the area where the hotel was located, but I will say that the hotel was nice and the staff was very helpful. Close to two train stations. Pretty easy to get around.

Loved having a bath! Great for soaking after walking the streets of Paris! The little lift was great, so much easier than stairs. Close to Gare du Nord. As a single woman I felt safe at all times, including the surrounding area. Cafe across the road was excellent for breakfast! Hot water needs improving-my only negative comment.

Location was the primary reason we'd chosen this hotel. It is like a 3-4 minutes walk from Gard du Nord train/metro station. Very convenient if you have an early flight out of CDG airport. It's also surrounded by men walking around asking if you want to watch porn movies, hanging out at the metro station entrances and drunks wandering the streets. However, we didn't feel unsafe even when coming back around 11 pm. The hotel entrance/lobby is fairly small. The staff is indifferent. We had room 19 and it's decent size for a small room. The bed is firm. The bathroom is very clean. Some of the window curtains were off track and had stains. The carpet is dated. I've read many reviews for the hotels around this area and had chosen this one for the rave reviews. I wonder if I've read the wrong reviews. Anyway, it's way worse than what the reviews were saying. I like the hotel location but not sure if I'd stay at this particular one again.

Well priced, good location
Great location, very close to Gare Du Nord, which saved us renting a car. Very helpful and nice staff with good breakfast. Room was ‘cozy’ but had everything we needed with no complaints. Would use again.

Great staff, poor room
Really great staff. Our flight was delayed and we were thankful to be able to check-in really late by accommodating nice staff. Lovely desk staff by day also. But the room was extremely noisy and stank! There was a disgusting smell coming from the drain in the bathroom sink. Really wretched. Like a sewer. We had to cover the drains at night. Combined with the smell of cigarettes from the street (ask for a room above the first floor) made the room really unpleasant to be in. Also the toilets flush crazy loud so the sound of various rooms flushing at night kept us awake. I can understand that’s maybe old infrastructure and be sympathetic to that, but it still made it hard to sleep. In sum, thanks to the front desk staff for being very nice, but we wouldn’t stay again due to the smell and noise levels of the room. Hotel management should strongly consider cleaning its drains and airing out the room.
