AWFUL EXPERIENCE! Checked in and room had a very strong smoke smell. JUST AWFUL! Switched rooms and the air conditioner didn’t work. Maintenance came up and just flipped the switches. By this time it was late and we were hot and tired from driving all day. Left and stayed across the street. Asked for a refund and MANAGER DENIED the request. Stay away from this property!

Very Comfortable
We were in Peoria for a concert so we stayed only one night and didn’t eat there. It’s nice that the Pete Marquet is also right there for food and bar needs. The room was nice and my only negative comment isthe temperature when we walked into the room was 63. That was way too cold and took a long time to warm to a more comfortable temperature . The bed and pillows were very comfortable.

Inoperable elevator meant walking up 35 stairs each time. Parking deck garbage was overflowing (not hotel's responsibility I know) but not a very pleasant first impression. Breakfast was "running behind a bit" meaning it was never set out. No coffee either as fo 8:00am.

Parking entrance around the block and they charge extra for it which was a surprise. Elevator to parking garage was out of service so had to carry bags up the long flight of stairs.
