Good overall with some systemic flaws
Nice quiet hotel good for family and small children. Good and safe place to stay. Excessive tipping culture after every meal and service which can account for a hefty sum. Rigged monopoly overpriced taxi system associated with the hotel. Outdated meals and not the best drinks I’ve had in Mexico.

Family trip and a friends bday. Front desk staff all very friendly and accommodating. Service for breakfast & dinner fantastic, flexible to meet your dietary requirements. Food was very good. Martin is an exceptional server! They even surprised my friend for her bday with a cake and came to sing. Love the rustic and zen vibes- like tulum. Only improvement, rooms could use some upgrading. Will definitely recommend to friends/family.

A beautiful property on the beach. If you want to relax and enjoy the sun, this is the place for you. It's quiet and serene. I loved that they turned off the music on the beach at request so that we can enjoy the quiet. I love their gorgeous yoga studio and daily classes. Massage on the beach was amazing. I really liked the general decor and vibe of the place. Really chic and natural. I'd totally come back.

La estadía en Pettit Laffite fue maravillosa!! El personal muy amable, atento, agradables y con muy buena actitud. Baldemar, uno de nuestros favoritos. Aarón muy atento y servicial!! One of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed in! My family had the best time here. The personnel made this whole stay complete! They are sweet, attentive and always ensuring you make it back to your hotel if you decide to take day trips! We will for sure be returning again!

Our family of 5 had the best experience at the hotel. The staff went above and beyond making sure we had everything we needed. The daily yoga was amazing. The bungalow , restaurant , and pool area was well maintained. The food was great and the whole family enjoyed themselves. It was our first visit to the area and we always felt safe on the property. The only downside was the area was isolated, where as we had to get a taxi to get to shopping or any off property location. Not a big deal though and it didn’t not ruin our stay at all.

Petit Lafitte was exactly what we were looking for - a peaceful getaway in a place that wasn’t too loud or big and had amazing views and a unique bungalow experience. The food and drinks were also great and we enjoyed the live music as well. Our favorite part was the amazing staff! Everyone was very welcoming and friendly and we especially want to thank David and Manuel.

This boutique hotel was such a wonderful find. The food is AMAZING, especially for a half board. I mean, I had one of the best paellas of my life, FILLED with seafood... couldn't believe this was part of the package. The drinks were also fantastic, their piña coladas were so delicious. Not too sweet, with a hint of freshly shaved cinnamon and dried pineapple as a garnish... 1000/10. Their yoga studio is very cute, and I really appreciated the front desk letting me and my sister use it in the afternoon for pilates on our own accord. My only two let downs were the condition of out room & some of the staff. We stayed in a room in the main building (not a bungalow), and the air filter in our bathroom was covered in mold. The daily cleaning was kind of done heartedly, even if we left tips. Staff was hit or miss - some were extremely friendly, others seemed like they wanted to be anywhere but here. I will most likely be back - next time in a bungalow!
