This home is a 1929 Sears and Robuck home
on the Portage river 1 mile from the Jet express
Close to public boat ramp plenty of fishing good bass area right on property sit in the sun room and have coffee or in a chair by the water. Or enjoy a fire by the water
1 first floor bedroom with full size bed
Large rooms with a view of water from master bedroom up stairs.
3 bedrooms upstairs with 1 queen bed ,1 full bed. A bedroom room[smaller] with a twin bed also upstairs
2 eat in areas easily seat 10 people
Will sleep 6 people comfortably or 6 adults and 2 children.
A sofa sleeper and a futon on the sunroom could sleep 2 more for an additional fee per person per night.
Fire pit (free wood provided).No fires larger than 2 ft 3ft per Ohio Epa recreational fire rule
PETS ARE WELCOME (FEE) BUT MUST CLEAN UP AFTER THEM
There are docks out back all children under the age of 12 must have a life jacket on we have an assortment of jackets if you forget them upon request
We also have some fishing Poles and some light tackle that can be used. We have a fish cleaning table and a small deep freezer for our fisherman guests .
We are not responsible for any accidents on the property
A dock for a boat no longer than 23 ft right out back and a public ramp 1/4 mile away drive right to the dock (small fee).
Many other attractions are minutes away, 1 mile away catch a charter boat and enjoy also including Marblehead Lighthouse, and Firelands wineries, historic Johnson's Island, African Safari Wildlife Park, Monsoon Lagoon Waterpark, Lakeside resort community, East Harbor State Park where you can take long hikes along the beautiful historic beach and relive history reading the plaques that recount the history of the Lake Erie shoreline.
