Un peu plus cher que ce qu’il paraît
Hôtel qui présente bien mais quelques points sont à noter : pas de ménage entre nos deux nuits ( le tarif reste le même pourtant…), les chambres ne sont pas très bien insonorisées ( on entend les chasses d’eau et le bruits extérieurs), le petit déjeuner est très sommaire ( mais inclus), les tarifs semblent accessibles mais il faut ajouter 30 $ par nuit mais qui ne sont pas des taxes ( pourquoi cela n’est il pas directement dans le tarif de la chambre ??)

The staff were amazing. The bathroom door would not shut so we couldnt get to the closet - they immediately changed rooms for us ... no question and so kindly. Loved the hotel and the outside sitting area. Will certainly return!

The Hotel Zags is located in a convenient location. A good starting point for exploring the city and/or road tripping across the state and through Washington. The hotel staff were friendly. The breakfast was adequate, and the hotel also provides passes to the gym down the street. They also have a nice outside seating area where you can play games. The only upset was the housekeeping. The first room that we had had unclean sheets, so we were immediately moved to another room. In the second room, the sheets came undone when the comforter was pulled back. Feedback was given to the staff to improve the housekeeping, but, overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Beautiful interior designing in this place! And the building architecture is so classy and unique in a nice area of downtown Portland. Room was super comfortable with a great working desk space. Good food with super friendly staff. I stayed overnight while I was touring my new university campus, and have nothing but good things to say! Would absolutely stay at the zags again.

Very mid experience overall. Room was cramped with little light and musty smell. Lots of "amenities" and "features" but really not useful or worth an additional fee. Breakfast was one of the worst I've experienced in a long time.

Staff was very pleasant. Nice outdoor area. Comfortable bed and pillows. Room too small for our liking. We stayed a week and there just isn't enough room. Difficult to organize to things as there is,nt a dresser. No where to put suitcase

Convenient & Friendly Stay
The staff was very helpful and efficient. Got our rooms quickly and even ahead of check-in time. My teens explored the "game room" and said it had a funny odor and tried on two separate days too. Not a big deal as we didn't stay long. My husband and I found the beds "shifty". They're mattresses are on platforms and would shift/slide too easily. The mattress cover and sheets must have been too large as they kept bunching while you lay in bed. Thankfully we were tired from lots of walking around Portland and this didn't make falling asleep difficult. Though more than a one night stay, the beds would be an issue. Overall a good stay and great location for convenience. Located in an area easy to walk around to many fun places.
