I made a last minute decision to go on a a trip to Puerto Vallarta for my first time. Since it was a last minute booking over Christmas, the options were limited. This place looked nice but I was surprised they had last minute availability so I booked it on a wing and a prayer hoping it would be okay. Immediately upon arrival I knew I'd hit the jackpot. I really don't think there is anything I can say that hasn't been said by others, but I was blown away by this hotel. It felt more like staying at a (really rich) friend's home than a hotel, everything was so personalized and gorgeous. A couple friends joined me on the trip and we all agreed that we did not anticipate spending as much time at the hotel as we did, but the rooftop pool with the world's greatest bartender, Jose, was very hard to leave. I can't wait to come back.

Here's a refined version of the review: This historic property offers a distinctive charm, though it shows its age. Our family suite provided ample space but suffered from dark decor and insufficient lighting. Despite having all essential amenities, the bathroom could use modernization. The absence of windows in our room was disappointing. While breakfast selections were modest yet satisfying, the highlight of our stay was unquestionably the rooftop area, featuring an impressive pool and hot tub setup.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Excellent vacation. Hotel staff was engaging and welcoming. The manager Carolina was extremely helpful. They helped arrange pickup from the airport and an upgrade for a room facing the river. 2 beautiful pools. And a talented bartender, Jesus. Room serviced daily by the friendly Nora. However, the entire staff were kind and pleasant. Quiet location on the river away from the city noise. Close to all the true local Mexican restaurants. We will definitely be staying here again.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. The staff here is so friendly and attentive. The bar tender Jesus was amazing! Its in a quiet area and is so close to everything fun. We will be staying here again.

Another wonderful stay. The staff was great, but especially want to recognize Ivan. He was very nice and extremely helpful pre stay and during our stay. Also want to recognize Rigo and Jesus. Hotel was very safe and clean. The location is perfect for us. This is our 3rd or 4th stay at this hotel and will return when we come back to our favorite city to visit in Mexico.

Everything about this stay was incredible. The rooms are so unique with incredible views. It’s right in the middle of everything yet secluded enough that noise isn’t an issue. The staff was hands down the highlight. I want to be friends with all of them!!!

I love this boutique hotel, my room and view was stunning. Only one thing i can add the breakfast menu could be improved. Food was just ok, there is better restaurants with more authentic food for breakfast in Puerto Vallarta. View of breakfast area was amazing as well.

This was a great find. It's a small place with a few rooms on each floor. The pool and bar on the 3rd floor are a wonderful escape on a hot day. The breakfast in the morning was a nice way to start the day. The staff are friendly and there's even a cat! There's parking right in front but it's also in a very walkable area. Lots of good restaurants nearby. The room with a balcony looking at the river was great. Lots to see going on down there. The river could be a bit loud if you had the sliding door open at night, but otherwise not an issue at all. My only real complaint was that they allow smoking (outside-as do many other places) so it drifts up from the balcony below you as it did for us. It was only for a couple days but did find we would have to retreat inside for a bit when that happened. Would happily return again if we're ever back in that part of the world. And if you're looking for a place with a wonderful resident cat, this is the place (and also take a walk over to the island nearby and meet those cats too!)

Fantastic place! Hotel pool is great. Staff are great. Only thing was we had stains on our sheets upon arrival (they promptly changed them), and the neighbors have several dogs that bark all day and all night.
