I like the atmosphere which is a result of the helpful staff and guests. It gets lively with happy hour extending into the mid evening. Only been here a few days but that’s my cursory impressions.
We booked a private room, it was very small but very clean. It was a perfect option after arriving at 12.30am from Amazon tour. The bus parks right outside. The staff are great and so helpful. Luggage storage and laundry is also available
I unfortunately booked 4 nights here. The check in his several flights up narrow stairs..I lugged my heavy suitcase up to check in and messed up my back. Music goes nightly to 11pm so if you need some sleep or have a early travel day forget it. This is not a place that is serene more of a funky gathering spot . Shower near my room was out of order. Overall late night music EVERY night was too much for me personally. Staff was nice and view was great...
It has a nice vibe. I'd go there again. Restaurant and bar are particularly nice. Avocado toast for breakfast!! Great to have a family room available. Staff and volunteers were so helpful. The free walking tour was informative and enjoyable. Laundry service available. Staying the night before taking their shuttle to sister property at Cotopaxi is a particularly good idea.
lots of activities and easy to meet people. Location is good. The hostel sometime charge more for taxi compare to if you call yourself or use uber. For example, uber from airport to hostel is about $25 but the hostel will charge $28. However when I transfer from hostel to airport, I paid $20. the food is good @ the hostel but you probably can find cheaper and different type of food elsewhere. the staff is very responsive. It's fairly noisy at night till around 11 pm or so. Overall, it is a good stay.
The only reason that i booked a room at that hostel its because my bus for my jungle trip was departure-arrival there. The guys at the reception didnt want to help me with taxi, he just tell me walk at the corner at street there should be one ( there were none...and i was waiting in the street at 23:45 in a location not that safe) and the wifi didnt works in the room , only in common area...
So its a epic fail!!!
My room was awesome! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The walking tour was a great free add on with lots of good info. The upstairs patio has amazing views with free tea and filtered water

I liked the view in the rooftop, and the prices at the restaurant were half percet less as customer but in the rooms they didn't have heater, I got frozen! and they didn't have parking. So in the night i couldn't sleep well because i was checking everytime my car was ok. I had to look for another place to kept in Quito another day. The stuff was friendy but there were problems with communication before my check-in.
A wonderful and beautifully unique spot with a great community. The rooftop is a perfect place to hang out and enjoy the views of the city. Would absolutely stay again when in Quito.
Very good hostel. Bar and cafeteria Have a wonderful view of the city. Staff is very helpful in finding excursions. Best for us it was less than a block from the Wonderbus pick up point.
The atmosphere, help with tours and general desire to bring travelers together make this hostel one of the best places we've stayed in on our 2 month long trip! Would recommend to anyone traveling to Quito especially if Quito is your first stop as you may be able to find goood groups, have easier travel through thier services, and maybe find some new adventures!
