Management? What management?
The staff of this hotel are very friendly and accommodating. The general manager, not so much! None of their washing machines are functioning properly. One is completely out of work the other and just doesn’t spin your clothes dry. On my first visit here three weeks ago, it wasn’t working either. The washers ( when are working) functions with quarters and the dryers usie an app that you have to download. Unfortunately, for me and for them, the minimum deposit to use the app/machine is $25. No thanks. Anyway, when I approached the manager about the situation,i t was clear to me that he couldn’t care less. It was so apparent, in fact that when I met him in the elevator and asked him why a big hotel like that would only have two washers and two dryers for 100 rooms? He’s literally turned his back on me in the elevator facing the corner like the spoiled patulous child that he apparently still is. He put such a bitter taste in my mouth, that, unless in an emergency, I will no longer use The Marriott brand again.

Very disappointed they would not let me us AARP due to it being a homecoming weekend. If you honor AARP, you should ALWAYS honor it. That is like gauging people. A pig gets fat & a hog gets slaughtered. That will be a question I ask next time before I book. Lightning could be brighter.

Room layout a bit odd with the small toilet room directly in front of one beds, with tv view that is the bed you need to be in if watching at night. However, nice that toilet is separate from shower/bath Shower had slow drain, and oddly off/on hot water just on one morning. (Weekend stay was 2 nights)

The carpet outside our room needed to be vacuumed but was dirty for the 2 nights of our stay. The room had a musty smell, and smelled strongly of mold when the ventilation system was running. We will not be back.

Clean, quiet close to shopping and restaurants with fast efficient check in and checkout. Lobby area spacious, great for watching TV and gathering, although tv stays loud in lobby in wee hours in the morning if you are looking for a quiet spot. But they did have an outdoor area that was quiet.
