Lovely place right at the water. 2 wild horses for company right outside our room. The hot water tub was amazing in the chilly weather. We were there for only one night but wished we had more time.

You really book this property for the views! It's not near by anything, so you need a vehicle. There's not really staff onsite, we did see cleaners during the day. It really depends on what you're looking for - but if you want quiet, beautiful views & have access to a car, this is a great option.
The only problem was the shower not being closed off, which made the bathroom flood within showering for five minutes. A microwave would have been nice. Otherwise, the surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous, the rooms and nice and cute. The wind is insane, but that was cool to experience still.
There were no check in instructions left to us. We arrived with no idea where our room is. There are no staff onsite to help. The staff did not contact us with the room number until we messaged them. The rooms are also not as advertised on Expedia. We booked a room that supposedly had "one double bed and two queen sofa beds" but we got a room with one queen bed and two twin bed. Very misleading.
Easy check in and out. Lots of parking space. It's a different kind of experience living in the village, very unique. I love the view from the room. I just love everything about it. We will stay again here.
Loved the location and the value of having 6 people in one room. Great for families. It was a bit small for 6, but everyone was comfortable. Hot tub was great and a nice way to wind down at the end of the day. On site restaurant looked good, but we had already eaten, so we skipped.

I wanted to give a better review because we loved the location. It was right by the water and it is a quiet setting; however in room 6, it was loud from people walking on the roof for the hot tub and the neighbors were so noisy. The hotel never gave any instructions on checking in. I had driven to the hotel looking for an office to check-in, but only found housekeeping ladies who told me that I was supposed to receive an email with check-in instructions. Never received an email but they did send an email that there will be no hot water for 2 days. Also our heater never worked and our 2nd night was so windy and cold outside. They seem to be aware that the heater was broken because they confirmed it when I messaged them. They sent someone to fix it the following day but he left a trail of dirt on the floor from the door to our bathroom. Also no instructions on checking out so I had to message them.
The only good thing to say is the bed was comfy and there is a refrigerator. The roll down shade needs to be replaced on the door because there are big holes so sunlight comes through when you want the room to be darkened.
We loved the amazing location on the peninsula and how quiet and peaceful it was there! Our room was spacious and comfortable with lots of light. We didn't know how to work the ceiling window blinds. It was fine not having a "front desk" to call/visit, though it would have been nice so we could get additional coffee sticks and find out about the blinds. The grounds surrounding the rooms were amazing. It's so lovely to wake up on the water with Icelandic horses romping outside your door!
Very cool location, but know that you are far from the city. Very quiet! Patio out back. Clean and comfortable. Daily cleaning service. Restaurant on property is only open certain days and short hours. They were offering a buffet the day we were there.
This is a unique, out-of-the way property that offers unparalleled views of the open Atlantic and sunset. The rooms are charming, and the property is unique and beautiful. Just be aware that the restaurant is open only on weekends and that there is no coffee or breakfast on the property. As such, you need to plan ahead and bring groceries. And you definitely need a car.
This is a nice property but we’re not given any check in instructions. Our flight was delayed so we did not arrive until 11pm. We attempted to find a reception area… there was none. Difficult to get ahold of staff and even know where we were staying. Likewise there were no checkout instructions or staff available on site to assist. For the price point I would stay somewhere else.
Beautiful and unique property! Perfectly clean. Wonderful views! There is a popular restaurant on-site that wasn’t mentioned in the description, although it doesn’t have breakfast. The hot tub outside our room’s back door was inoperative) jets don’t turn on and it is ice cold). But we would stay here again!
