Great hotel at the quieter end of Laugavegur. Very walkable, great spa area with sauna and 2 hot tubs, big comfortable room that was pretty quiet on the weekend, there was construction by the property that started very early in Monday morning.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at this property. We were greeted by friendly people, and they held our bags until check-in. They also gave us desserts in our room, and a coupon to use the spa, which was lovely. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious. We would definitely stay here again.

Where do I start? This hotel exceeded all our expectations. We booked a deluxe double with half board and were delighted with the spacious corner room, the varied and delicious food at breakfast and dinner and the amenities of the hotel, including the spa (which was empty. The dinner meals were all fantastic and we were allowed to pick from the main menu, no restrictions. Reception, restaurant and bar staff were all very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and pleasant to chat to. I wouldn't hesitate to book here again and as a base for exploring the golden circle, it is ideal. At our visit, there are works in the street outside but we weren't aware of it from the room, only when leaving. Overall, a brilliant stay.
