The location is great especially if your interest is vatican city. The air conditioner was not working properly. We couldn't sleep one night was really hot. The rooms are i 6 Floor. One time the elevator was not working.

The accommodation was very clean and the owner was very helpful to us. We didn’t realize it wasn’t a hotel as it is just a few rooms he rents out. The building itself was very unique and quiet though. The only downside was the street was under construction.

We recommend this! It was a simple room, very clean, good space for two people, was exactly what we needed for one night in Rome. SO close to the Vatican, extremely convenient. It was simple and it was nice! It is a good choice for wanting to be near the Vatican.

The property indicated breakfast was provided but you had to go 4 buildings over and were only given a donut and coffee. They said laundry was there but it was 4 blocks away. When we arrived no one was on site to let us in. We called and finally after waiting outside with our luggage for 15 minutes the door was finally opened.

Liked the location Liked the tips provided by the owner Bathroom a little small (compared to US standards) Bathroom shower stall was quite small to enter and had mold that we wished was cleaned. So too under the toilet bowl. Location is excellent for access to Metro, Vatican and Taxi stand. Lovely streets close by to enjoy evening strolls.

Great Location
We never saw or met the hotel manager. It is an apartment bldg and we were left the keys in the room. The location to the Vatican was great and a close by taxi stand. I would rather have a front desk person to speak with so it was a little odd to us. Upon entry it looked marvelous until the first one in face planted from tripping on a step that wasn’t seen as the large luggage was rolled in, blocking the view. The shower looked great, but fell apart when first used. The floor was quite warped as the shower must have flooded the beautiful wood floor some time prior. There was a small wobbly desk that was really the only table that could be used with the ‘tabletop ironing board.’ Couldn’t use the little table as it didn’t come up to my knees. I was afraid to keep flopping the clothes to be ironed as there was a very fragile glass light on the corner of the small table, and the coffee set on the other side. Just wasn’t much room to iron. However, we loved the double window, its shutters, and room darkening drapes. The mini fridge kept the drinks just above Luke warm. We liked the old building and it’s feel of walking back in time. But our American ‘size’ gave us little room in the elevator, and thru the doors. The place was conceived to all our desired stops, so it balanced our likes and dislikes for this space.

Excellent!
The property was lovely and kept very clean and maintained. The location is excellent around Vatican City, with many shops, restaurants, cafes, and of course the Vatican Museum, Basilica, and Sistine Chapel all within walking distance. The host, Paolo, tended to my every need and question promptly and was so kind and helpful in every way, especially with my flight delay and a very late check-in. I highly recommend this booking for solo or couple visitors to Rome!

The room was pretty clean. It’s a little scary going solo to the property. It’s on the 6th floor. There is a small elevator. You can hear everything in the rooms. The walls are super thin. I was very disappointed they had said there was laundry, there was not. I see they have changed this on Expedia. Also not the “full breakfast” is a coupon to a cafe down the road for a free coffee and a croissant. Also, DO NOT leave anything out. Nothing was stolen, but I put out my privacy sign and saw the owner in the hallway and said I didn’t want any housekeeping for the day. He still went in my room and turned off the air conditioner.

Exceptional Customer Service
The hotel was located a walking distance from the train station. It is closed to small restaurants and some land marks like the Vatican. The room is spacious compared to regular standard rooms in Europe. Clean and beddings smell freshly laundered! Trizania was exceptionally great!!! Before we even came she sent us an email wanting to know the time we will be arriving. She asked if we have a “ whatsapp” account, which I did. From then on, she was very personable! She gave clear cut instructions from what metro line to take and what direction to go and even gave the exact no of metro stops before the place we needed to get off. The shower however was not functioning well the first night and a quick text to Trizania was sent and before we even woke up, she already sent the plumber to check on the problem. Sent us a list of places to eat around the area! For her to take her time to personalize our visit was greatly appreciated and made our vacation even better.
