The hotel is overall great. But the fact that I already paid to book my stay here and still need to pay for my parking $20 a day and that depends on what car you have. Which is crazy. So i am not staying here anymore. This is the first hotel i stayed at that required you to pay to park.

We frequent the Hyatt Place and it has become our go to hotel for when we travel back home to San Jose. The staff and housekeeping are always friendly and helpful, even when they are super busy checking guests in and out and you have a question or need at the same time. The location is super convenient with excellent freeway access. The breakfast that was included in our rate is a decent mix and the hot food varies from day to day. Some changes we’ve encountered since our last stay to prior to our most recent one: • The once-free parking is now $20/vehicle per night (and we had 2, making it quite costly for 3 nights). But at least they don’t charge for day parking because at one point, we did have a 3rd vehicle visiting us, but just for the day. Breakfast used to be automatically included in the rate, now you have to choose it. Whether you select it while booking or at the hotel, it’s $11/person. However, know that this hotel rate, in general, is lower compared to others in the area. So, keep all those things in mind when booking! Overall, I still recommend the Hyatt Place. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I don’t know if it was because of our racial identity, but everyone at the hotel was very rude. The shuttle driver was aggressive, slammed the door in my dad’s face, yelled at me and threw our bags on the ground. One of our rooms didn’t have soap and after various attempts, we were given dish soap to use as hand soap. Our phone didn’t work and no one cared. We asked for our room to be cleaned and it wasn’t. This was a pathetic excuse for a hotel

Nice property. Comfortable bedding. Breakfast included for a fee or Dennys is within short walking distance. Staff provided good customer service. I would stay here again.
