Absolutely lovely! Very clean and modern and while very busy, no queuing and high Hilton customer service. Very close to underground stations and lovely restaurants and sights.

The walls between rooms on 12th floor was so thin I could clearly hear the next room’s TV. The wrestling show was loud and interrupted reading and sleeping. Area around hotel has some construction and obstacles walking.

Room was lovely and clean, and appreciated the soundproofing. Breakfast was fine but very busy in the morning, and the food not very hot, but the staff were very efficient. The lifts were a nightmare and you seemed to be waiting a long time for one to arrive and these kept stopping on way up and down even though there was noone waitng for the lift.

The hotel is very large and the breakfast buffet is excellent with many options. Kept the lobby area and bathrooms very clean. The room was so dated and drab and the beds were one of the worst I have ever slept on in a hotel, so hard! I couldn’t believe how old the rooms were and small, especially for the price paid. The bathroom was not good and high instep to the shower. The worst was the power outage and therefore no AC so no airflow in the room overnight. I called 3 times and even though they offered and said they would bring a fan, they never did. Next morning, they finally brought one. Toilet paper ran out in morning, came back at night and nothing replenished. They offered a small discount at checkout that was ridiculous.

The hotel was very nice. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The location was great. So close to the tube and easy to get around. Staff were helpful and we got an early check in. The room was very spacious for 5 of us.

Positives good location with plenty of shops nearby. Good location for Bakerloo and Circle line for the underground service. Negatives are the room and bathroom facilities need an upgrade, very tired looking decor. The ground floor,entrance, etc, all extravagant, but this doesn't flow into the actual rooms. The shower was basic, and the sink tap was annoying when turned on the water, which just splashed everywhere, leaving the bathroom constantly wet. The bath was horrible and worn out. The pillows were awful and didn't get good nights sleep. I feel the location is great, but the room lets it down. I dont feel the room is worth its price.

my original two night stay was booked through expedia and i needed to extend my stay another two days, when i called in to extend for additional two nights, i was told my booking would include breakfast. plus after i hung up from the long distance call, i never received a confirmation email; therefore, i had to make another long distance call. when i called the second time, they didn’t see my additional days i attempted to book, so i had to spend time on the phone long distance again to book the additional days. when i got there, they had two bookings for me and one of them labeled as a no show with a charge and they never had breakfast added to the two days, therefore when we waited in line for breakfast with our hungry children, we were turned away and it was shocking not to have it on reservation which we so clearly booked on the phone twice. also, each time we went to unlock the door to our room, the keys didn’t work and i had to go back downstairs and get the keys adjusted which took much time because i had to prove my identity and show my credit card and they had to pull in the manager. it was embarrassing for this to happen time and time again and our children had to wait in the hallway for quite some time. plus the toilet seat was broken and when we called for service for batteries for the remote, it took almost an hour an a half for someone to come up and by that time all of the family was in bed and we were woken up. we spent about four hours of our trip handling.

Great hotel
We arrived early but Olivia on the front desk was so helpful and she allocated us a room straight away. The views from our room on the 23rd floor were spectacular. The room was small but functional, there was a slight stale smell and no openable windows. Otherwise very pleased. This is a very large hotel so lots of people milling around. Not a big issue for us but breakfast was a bit chaotic with long queues and lots of noise. We would definitely stay here again.
