Just okay
The stay was just okay. Do able for a one late night stay. The staff were amazing. But as soon as we got on the elevator it smelled of weed and to the second floor and it smelled bad as well. Even in our room it smelled bad like stale cigarettes . The hotel needs a major updating. Chipping paint and stains all over the walls. Our sheets were clean thankfully but curtains were stained and around the tub the caulk was missing/ dirty looking. It’s one of the most unkept hotels I’ve stayed in but for a one night quick stay it was fine. Breakfast in the morning was nothing special. We grabbed muffins and bagels to go.

Entire hotel smells like cigarettes. We found a ton on trash underneath the bed and almost every member of staff I spoke with had a bad attitude. I called 10 minutes after leaving the property informing them I left something in the room and they assured me housekeeping would bring it to them. I called later to verify they had it and they claimed to call back nothing was found. I called three days in a row and no one was willing to help me.

The room was not as advertised. It had no side chair or recliner and the light in the desk has a short. The coffee supplied was only decaffeinated, but that made no difference in the end because the coffee maker doesn’t work. The coffee maker in the lobby also didn’t work properly. The shuttle van was scheduled the day before, but the driver didn’t show until 15 minutes late. Staff are nice enough, but the infrastructure backing them up is in need of improvement.

The staff was amazing. We were there basically six hours, enough to sleep a few hours and take the shuttle to the airport. Our room (including bedding) felt damp and made it difficult to sleep, faucet in tub ran continuously, but seemed to be overall clean. There was only one side table, which was annoying but fine. Shuttle to airport was a fantastic feature. We left too early for the complimentary breakfast but it looked solid, got to use coffee machine which tasted great (had multiple options.)

If somebody can contact me about this property, it was very nasty. The towels were dirty in the bathroom. There was mold in the bathroom. The curtains had stains all over them and when I approach the front desk, all they can say is, I’m sorry so if somebody can contact me 352-547-9675.

Great staff, price and location. Older building with some upgrades. King mattress needs to be replaced as your body is cradled in a dip in the mattress (room 206). Cleanliness is exceptional and hot breakfast had lots of variety.

The property was not a motel or hotel. When we arrived, it was clear that it was more of a long-term temporary residence for people. The people living there have dogs that bark nonstop. There were ants in our room, the bathroom door did not close without kicking it shut, and the shower curtain rod was hanging out of the wall. We checked out early and went to another hotel.
