This first floor apartment is great for guests that do not wish to compromise location, but desire to remain in a more residential area. The space gleams with natural light, from the large windows in every room, and boasts with historic features such as original hardwood flooring, high ceilings, and restored fireplaces.
Enter into the building with the secure keypad, and head back to your new Home away from Home! Upon entering you'll find the spacious living room, that features an ample amount of comfortable seating, a flat screen television, and large windows that fill the space with natural light. Guests can take advantage of the sofa that converts into a queen size bed, if needed. Off of this space, you'll find the large bathroom with plenty of space to store your belongings, and a shower/tub combination, perfect for soaking the long day away.
Head to the back of the apartment to find the renovated kitchen, that is equipped with all of the modern conveniences one could wish for. From the elevated white granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and fully stocked kitchen, you'll want to prepare home-cooked meals every night! The quaint and charming bistro table can be served as a dining space, workspace, or place to gather for a game of cards!
Tucked away off of the living room, the cozy bedroom awaits! You'll will find a king-size bed, along with a tall wardrobe that can be utilized for all of your belongings.
Situated directly across from Oglethorpe Square, guests are just a few steps away from Savannah attractions such as Owens-Thomas House, Telfair Museum, and the string of local shops and cafes along Broughton Street, Savannah's "Main Street". Walk through the squares with an ice cold beverage from one of the several bars found in City Market, heading towards River Street to see the massive cargo ships sail by at sunset.
What is parking like for this home?
Parking is on-street and metered, which is enforced by the City of Savannah Monday to Saturday, from 8am to 8pm. Guests are encouraged to either purchase a prepaid parking pass at the Savannah Visitor Center, or find a nearby parking garage to store their vehicle in for the remainder of their stay.
