A lovely family holiday home close to the harbour, beach, cafes, pubs and shops in popular Seahouses. Cosy Cottage is in one of the quieter areas of the village and is perfect for a family of five with three bedrooms, two doubles and a twin. Accommodation is over two floors, well presented and very comfortable with a charming courtyard area for alfresco dining. This dog friendly property has a well fitted kitchen for all your holiday catering needs and off street parking.
Seahouses is a great base… stroll around the shops, pop out for breakfast or dinner and relax. It’s worth getting out and about and exploring this beautiful area of Northumberland with its many castles and market towns all within easy reach. Just 3 miles north is the impressive Bamburgh Castle which dramatically clings to a rocky outcrop. Seahouses in Beadnell Bay with its unique west facing harbour is a great spot for sailing, windsurfing and scuba diving. It’s 5 miles to Holy Island and Lindisfarne and golf, fishing and horse riding are all available locally.

Great location - cottage lacking some attention to detail
This is a great location and a pleasant cottage. Be aware that the parking space is just the front yard of the house and on a narrow alleyway with no turn around space. We took a Ford Fiesta and it was tight. Very tight. The house has adequate space and the kitchen looks new, but in some areas, equipment was minimal - eg, no dishwasher (which we knew) but also no draining rack, so you have to dry up as you go. Cutlery was short and there was only one working bedside lamp. My main gripe was that the toilet seat wasn't properly attached. We couldn't fix it ourselves so I contacted the local agent, but it was not repaired during our stay. Surely this would have been obvious when cleaning the bathroom at changeover, and should have been fixed then. Having said all that, Seahouses is a great base for visiting castles, Lindesfarne etc and has plenty of options for eating. The neighbouring beaches at Beadnell and towards Bamburgh are gorgeous and, even in mid August, uncrowded.
