HAWKEYE VIEW - 2 Bedroom Rustic Cabin in the Smokies

If you are looking to get away from it all and escape to the serenity of Smoky Mountains then you have found it! This out-of-the-way cabin has the feel of being miles from everything but it is only 15 minutes away from Pigeon Forge and all the major attractions! Located on over one acre, this true log cabin is a cozy two bedroom, two bathroom home and it accommodates up to six people with two queen size beds as well as a sleeper sofa. Hawkeye View is perfect for a honeymoon, or small family. You can rest easy in front of the warm, gas fireplace or take a relaxing bath in the jacuzzi. From your cabin, you can see views of Mt. Leconte and the National Park as well as the pristine farms that span out below your cabin location. This cabin is an easy drive, with no strenuous hills or mountains to climb. Enjoy sipping your morning coffee sitting in the rockers on your wrap around deck, or take an early morning dip in your bubbly hot tub. This cabin has all the love and coziness anyone could ask for! This is a cabin that has it all!

Cabin Layout:
As you pull up to the cabin, you can enter from the left or right of the cabin, going around the wrap around deck and enter from the back. Here on the back deck, is where you will find your hot tub, which is privately located from view. Your grill is also located on this wrap around porch. As you enter the cabin, you will have your full kitchen to your left and living room to the right with the sleeper sofa. This is where you will also find the foosball table. Continuing further into the cabin you will have a full bathroom on the left with a stand up shower, as well as one bedroom with a queen size bed. Across from this bedroom is the master bedroom which also has a queen size bed, and bathroom attached, that contains a stand up shower as well as jetted jacuzzi. Cabin is all one level.

Business getaway

Just getting in the driveway was very difficult. No way to turn around and backing out of the very long driveway is impossible. After taking care of the very busy business tasks, was looking forward to getting in the hot tub, but there were so many bugs in the water, that my wife refused to evern get in. It was obvious that there hasn't been anyone staying at this cabin for some time due to all the spider webs in the windows and bathroom's. Or maybe the person who does the cleaning is not doing there job. Having to pay a very expensive fee for cleaning zi would have expected way more! The refrigerator had been pieced together from other refrigerators. The shelves didn't fit, fell out, shelf was broken and wouldn't stay in place made it very inconvenient. Definitely would Not stay in this cabin again. businesstask, was lookingffor.for

The cabin was well stocked and we had many great nights on the deck. Everything was in working order and check in was easy. We would definitely book again!

Great for a long weekend with the family and pup

We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. It was clean and the view was really nice. The view is gorgeous and the outdoor furniture is perfect for enjoying it. The cabin capacity listed is 6 but I can't imagine it with more than 4 people. There are 4 dinner plates, 4 small plates, 4 bowls, 4 chairs at the table... Also, if you take your dog just know that there is very little level ground to walk them on near the cabin. There is a steep bank to one side of the driveway and the mountain continues up on the other. We wound up walking the hill a lot going to the road which had a bit more grass and room to walk. We really did love the cabin. I definitely could see us returning!

Easy peasy

Overall, renting this cabin was very easy. The description & pics online accurately reflect the cabin. It’s cute cabin! Great place for 2-4 people, very comfortable. The best part is definitely the porch with all the stunning views! It was like living in a treehouse. The driveway is an adventure all on its own. We enjoyed our time here.

Absolutely adorable

This cabin has THE most picturesque view ... the pictures online really do not do it justice. From the porch you can see a valley with livestock, mountains close and far, and hear the river at the foot of the mountain. The cabin is close to stores and the drive up the mountain is steep, but short. We have a small sports car and did just fine in March, though my boyfriend said he wouldn’t try it in winter without a truck with four wheel drive. The cabin has awesome appliances and a comfy master bed and it does feel very secluded in its spot on the mountain. The only thing that was slightly inconvenient was having to drive out of the way to check in at the office instead of driving straight to the cabin, but the office staff are very helpful and efficient. The cabin isn’t a five star hotel, but who wants that in the mountains anyway :). We visited during the Coronavirus pandemic so even with all the tourist attractions closed, we still had a wonderful stay as the cabin has full DirectTV, board games, a hot tub, and a foosball table. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this cabin.

Relaxing stay at Hawkeye view

Property was a bit dated, inside was nicely decorated with Christmas tree.probably not the best location for snow and ice if 4wd not available. Overall a nice stay. Beautiful view from deck.
