Check in went smoothly. As they were unable to accommodate an early check-in (a summer policy), they offered secure luggage storage. That was really convenient. After we checked out, they again stored our luggage while we went on a 6 hr cruise. Easy walking distance from train station and to all the places on north end of town. They also offer complimentary shuttle to and from train station. Room had amazing view of harbor and mountains. Very clean. Beds were comfortable. Towels were a bit course, but worked fine. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Arrived before checkin as we just got off train. Understood our room was not ready but they said they don't call. We must come back to check. They should work harder to o accommodaté. Good location. Room clean. Restaurant was next building over. Didn't eat there. Must request room cleanup.

We were in the older motel section of the hotel. The room felt cramped for our family of four. It was affordable compared to other hotels nearby. The hotel is very convenient to the boat tours. The toilet and shower area were separate from the sink which helped with everyone getting ready at the same time. For one or two nights it is fine. You might want to request a room in the newer part. It might be roomier.

Convenient location but poor service checking in.

The checkin process was worst ever. Partly due to several different bookings by family members with different last names and booking via several sources. They could not say what the problem was, lacked patience with us, schooled us on how to do it better for their convenience next time, and it took over 30 minutes to get us all checked in.

The staff was exceptionally helpful in obtaining our luggage from the storage area and securing two seats on the shuttle bus the next day for transfer to the cruise terminal. Thanks John!

Economy Room

The staff at the hotel were slightly rude to everyone who inquired about early check in. They have a strict no early check in process. We were merely inquiring about storing our luggage and got our heads bit off. Once they realized we were only asking about that they were fine. The accommodations could use some updating. They also need complimentary coffee, tea etc in the lobby

The front desk staff is amazing. They helped us extend our stay when our camping trip canceled and they arranged it so we didn’t need to change rooms!! This put our minds at rest so we were able to enjoy the extra days in Seward. The afternoon/evening staff was also friendly and helpful with printing luggage tags, finding a tool to fix my jammed tripod and giving change for the laundry. Clean well-kept room. Are there nicer hotels? Probably, but staff, cleanliness and convenience was tops!!
