We had a fantastic week! Nice house, had everything we needed. Great air conditioning and pool for those hot summer days. And walk out of the neighborhood and beach access what right there. Can walk to town, restaurants as well. Would stay here again!

The place was great, loved the pool and the space. This was our 2nd trip to Siesta Key and we love it. We would definitely stay at the same place again. There was only 5 of us and the house had plenty of room for more. Even our pup enjoyed it. Other than some active home renovations in the neighborhood, it was very quiet. Access to the beach or town was a short walk or bike ride. We enjoyed using the bikes provided.

Great location, solid home
The property is in a quiet neighborhood, surrounded by beautiful homes and easy access to beach and Village. The home is a somewhat updated 50s style ranch, with small, but adequate bathrooms that apparently are going to be renovated later this year. The pool was clean and a great refuge during the first couple of weeks of red tide, when the beach was not an option. Not all of the screens were secured, but overall it worked perfectly for us The maintenance crew was beyond wonderful and quickly responsive to our smallest needs, like explaining how the outside grill worked, oiling the bikes, replacing broken beach chairs, checking the pool & hotter temp, and bringing drano for the shower. The 4th bedroom off of the kitchen is very cute, but not near either bathroom. The king and queen bedrooms were comfortable; one of the beds in the twin bedroom was older and noisy, and lower than the other. Kitchen was adequately stocked with everything you needed, but storage for snacks, cereal, coffee, etc. was limited - although pantry near the laundry machines was more than adequate. We liked that the location was private and not on a noisy/trafficked street. We're renting again next year, and looking forward to the renovations and working again with The Cottages group.

Great place but no heat in the hot tub
Overall great place to stay. The hot tub did not heat up until the last day before leaving which was disappointing as it was one of the big draws of the place for the morning and evening time with family. At $1500 a night, the hot tub should be operational. Tried on day one to get a Tried on day one to get it fixed. Maintenance came by and we were told it would warm up and it didn’t. The day before we left, another maintenance person came by and got it working. Otherwise very spacious a nice place to stay.

Fun time
We had 10 people in our group & the house suited our needs. We really enjoyed the pool & hot tub. The home is in a nice neighborhood & we met several permanent residents that were very friendly. The home is an easy walk or bike ride to the beach as well as to the village. We absolutely love Siesta Key as well as the greater Sarasota area. Very minor in the grand scheme of things, but we’d be more apt to return to this property if the homeowner made a few upgrades. The shower heads in both bathrooms are extremely low & taking a shower for a taller individual is very uncomfortable. We also wished the bedroom windows had blackout curtains as the rooms are very bright when the sun comes up. Minor repairs for loose tiling throughout the home as well as at least one leaky faucet would help as well. The dishwasher seems to be missing a wheel on one of the racks & it doesn’t track properly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the home.
