Not what we expected and would not recommend
The room was dark and depressing and very dated. Each day it was hit and miss to what towels you would get and toiletries. Also only got two teabags per day and no milk. Tv channel selection was dreadfull. The pool area was extremely tired and uninviting and was not relaxing due to being next to a playschool.The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. And all the reception staff were very pleasant.Location was ok.

The hotel was in a great location and staff were very helpful. The room was clean apart from the grime on the outside of the windows in the room. Definitely needs a good clean. Apart from that it was perfect and also had a laundry room where i could do my own washing which was convenient

This hotel has seen better days. The staff was friendly and helpful, but on the whole we were glad to only spend 2 nights at this hotel. Very noisy room (HVAC air handlers?), worn out carpets, sloppy and tired paint. The neighborhood is busy, but not immediately that interesting. The beds were comfortable, but room amenities need to be updated. The pool was nice, but the adjoining deck up one level needs a fix up and remodel. Time seems to have forgotten the Hotel Grand Pacific.

We were very happy with our room and the breakfast but when it came to getting a drink after 10pm no chance this was very disappointing as you are out late and expect to be able to get a drink in a hotel, or room service

IMO a very good 3 star hotel. Good breakfast options. The room I was given was clean and it was roomy for two people sharing. The bathroom was clean, towels fresh however personal preference for a shower rather than bathtub. But it was still all good Still no ramp for suitcase to be brought up the short flight of steps at the entrance. Alright if you're able and fit person but not so if you're a senior traveller..
