Just kind of ok. Didn’t feel like I got a lot of value for what I spent. Breakfast was fine. Noisy plumbing pipes (loose in wall) kept me from a decent night sleep.

Small crowded rooms. No chair or table, just desk and chair. Tiny bathroom sink counter. Walls and doors to next room with poor noise insulation. Guests in next room with TV and conversation easily heard until after 1 am. There are better hotels in Springfield unless you just want the rustic lodge motif.

Not what I was expecting. Hotel needs a good cleaning as well as our room. Had a dirty smell. Bathroom had a Silverfish insect on the floor when I got up in the middle of the night. Good thing I turned light on. Staff was friendly, bed was comfortable. . Breakfascomfortable

Very disappointed in this property. Expected so much more from a Johnny Morris Lodge. Limited TV options, bathroom fan not working, bed desk lamps not working, no microwave, dirty carpets, incredibly low water pressure, bed sheets placed over comforter of beds (rather than under)? No guest business room or computer, very dark and smelly hallways and way over priced. Much better hotels in area that are cleaner and at a better price. I would not recommend stating here. Live and learn.

Won’t break the bank
We stayed one night at the Angler’s Lodge. Overall it was good. The beds were a little too soft for our comfort but still manageable. I did find someone else’s hair on the shower wall which was a little disappointing but I’ve stayed in worse. Again, overall the stay wasn’t bad and we’ll probably stay there again if the price is right. I think my son’s favorite part was finding a bag of gummy worms on the beds. He thought that was so awesome! I liked that it was right across the street from Bass Pro, which was where we were going. It was in a good location. I would recommend this hotel to someone that isn’t wanting a dump to stay in but is also not wanting to break the bank either.
