The bathroom door seemed liked it swung the wrong way. Lighting could have been better in the bathroom, around the mirror. Good stay

A convenient location and clean rooms make the Inn at St. Albans a worthwhile place to stay if visiting the area. The breakfast was typical continental style but there is a Dunkin right next door along with a gas station and convenience store. Our only issue was a very loud neighbor the last night of our stay, but a call to the front desk had this quickly addressed and my children and I had no other concerns.

At renovated facility, did not expect to stay in 3rd room shown because of running water in toilet in 1st, water on floor around toilet in 2nd. More disturbing was being startled awake by angry voices and sounds of fighting around midnight. After 2nd time at 1:30am reported it to front desk. Said they would check. At 2:30am it happened again. Cancelled our 2nd night and left after a sparse breakfast. Front desk staff were as helpful as possible. No manager was available at check in or when we left.

Easy on and off highway. Close enough to downtown area to grab dinner and drink. Clean rooms, decent continental breakfast. Staff was pleasant and accommodating.

Would NOT recommend.

It was over-priced and under served. Our room had a smoky smell, they did not clean the rooms daily. Left a tip envelope for cleaning but didn’t clean. We had to go get our own toilet paper at the front because there wasn’t enough. The breakfast was limited and not stocked. We paid the price of a 5 star hotel but got the service of a 2 star. The rooms did not have safes either.
