Interesting experience.
Ultimately we ended up at The Creek View Villa, due to the 1st place we booked becoming unavailable prior to our departure, and when we arrived at the 2nd property they shifted us to we had to relocate because of an unforeseen issue. Creek Villa is newly remodeled and very presentable inside, yet the grounds surrounding the property still need some care and attention, esp around the pool area where there is heavy soil erosion and ankle-breaker holes in the soil. We bought most of the everyday Kitchen items one would use, corkscrew, cutting pad, sharp kitchen knife, foil & wrap, etc because as we said, the house was just back on the rental block and useable items were at a minimum. The 3 bedrooms were all nicely sized, crisp, modern, and spacious, but the house design always made us feel like it was better for a family of 4, maybe 5. Perfect for 4. The staff was generally nice when working directly together, but difficult to get a hold of even during normal business hours. I think we were mistakenly connected to the office janitor at one point. His name was Tom and we could tell by his immediate unpleasantness that we pulled him away from his floor mopping. Stay away from Tom, ask for Nicholas instead and you'll be good. If you're staying there over the winter or in temps of mid-60's during the day, make sure the pool heater is turned on at least 3 days before you get there!

We stayed at The Lighthouse Retreat and it was a fantastic stay and location especially to the Historic downtown. Very clean and comfortable. Easy to get around for restaurants, beach and tourist attractions. This is our 5th stay through Vrbo. Great communications with property owner.

We came down to see family and this was the perfect house for us. The pool was refreshing and the rooftop area had unbelievable views of downtown! The owners answered any question I had extremely quick. I would recommend this house to anyone who is thinking of coming to St Augustine

Best place I’ve ever stayed in St Augustine!!
We enjoyed our time with family, the house had all the accommodations that we needed, was nice and clean. Had a BEAUTIFUL pool area, and nice place up stairs living room to enjoy with the family. Within minutes we walked to the town, as well as a 5 minute drive to the beach. We all had a very great time and we can’t wait to come back again to St. Augustine. Thank you.

We had a wonderful time. House was beautiful and very clean. The swimming pool was the hit of the week. We really enjoyed our vacation. Close to all the activities Would recommend this place. Only problem couldn’t get the microwave to work. The ceiling fan in the bedroom squeaked drove me nuts. Minor issues. Place was Awesome.

Great Location
We loved the house and location. House was very clean. The only thing I can say about the house is that the TV's in bedrooms need to be Smart TV's. We basically only got minimal channels. Also, mattress needs to be updated in bedroom downstairs. Overall, great house with lots of room and very nice pool.

The location was excellent you could walk or drive into town. The outdoor furniture could be upgraded. The guide book said pool was heated to 80 degrees but it is not heated at all. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes and silverware and all the utensils you could use if you wanted to cook in. Then the mattress could be updated also. The last thing was the refrigerator was leaking all over kitchen floor had to use beach towels to stop he water and it took a out three days before it got fixed.

Our overall stay was great. Spent a lot of time in the pool area enjoying the breeze and having plenty of privacy. Downtown is a short walk across the Bridge of Lions and easy to get in and out for day trips. We did have one unwelcomed guest slither in from somewhere so make sure to watch the doors. Was definitely an adventure!

Fantastic Family Vaca Spot!
We all absolutely adored this home. It’s large enough for two families to vacation together and have separate spaces. Two kitchens, one fully functional downstairs. (We did have some issues with a couple the the burners on the stove.) VERY close to historical St Augustine. Loved being able to take a dip in the pool between sight seeing. Star gazing and sun rises from the rooftop are a must see. Don’t forget to snag dinner from O Steens, their shrimp are THE best!!

Beautiful home close to downtown and all area beaches. You can walk or uber to downtown and neighborhood restaurants. Spacious, clean, and comfortable. If you like to cook the kitchen is not fully stocked so bring all necessities. Do be careful if it rains out on the upstairs balcony at the transition of the trex decking to the metal at the base of stairway the roof. Would stay again.

Very Enjoyable Vacation Rental!!!
We had a great time at El Cielo. We all agreed that we would stay here again without hesitation. The location is convenient to downtown and the beach. The house was exceptionally clean. The pool was great. The property host (Jordan) was prompt and courteous in response to our questions or requests. It is probably the best VRBO experience we have ever had. Great layout with plenty of room to spread out.

Nice place but has some setbacks with how advertised.
Great location! My husband, a I along with my parents vacation here for over a week. The home is roomy and allows for plenty of space for multiple family members. It was within walking distance to Bridge of Lions and the downtown historic St. Augustine. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The property was well-maintained and very clean. We found a great taco stand not far from the property called Osprey tacos with an adjoining brewery. A few things to note about this property is that it is not as advertised to have two kitchens. The upstairs kitchen has no way to cook food. There is no stove/oven or microwave. There’s only a mini fridge but no freezer and no ice. Seems more like a wet bar with lots of cabinets. Also, to mention the upstairs kitchen has zero utensils to eat with and the downstairs kitchen only had three normal sized eating forks so we had to buy forks. The upstairs cabinets were not stocked. They were empty. They did have a handful of glasses and that’s it. Also beware that the pictures advertised in the listing are not currently accurate. In the pictures it shows an empty open lot in front of the house that provides water views however, there is a two story house that is being built that obstructs the water. The exterior picture should hopefully be updated accordingly. Also to note from the rooftop, there is no chairs or tables, and you cannot see the water from most areas on the roof but you can see parts of the bridge. Unfortunately, we rented this property based on the advertisement for water views, and was willing to pay a little extra to have that. We gave it three stars because we felt the advertised amenities were not sufficient for the price.

The property was very clean and the location to downtown was great as well I always received a timely response from the host on any questions. The only suggestion is that written instructions on operation of TV's would be a big help and make sure all TV's are working especially during bowl season. I highly recommend the house for a group who likes to hang out and enjoy St. Augustine.
