Cozy home and location :)
We had a wonderful stay at this charming two-bedroom home in Historic St. Augustine. As a family of six, we found the house to be cozy yet spacious, providing ample room for everyone. The location is fantastic! We loved the short walk to downtown. The walk itself was filled with beautiful homes, landscaping, and trees, making it a memorable experience. The house was clean, cute, and well-maintained. Being close to all the major attractions like the Old Catholic Mission, Spanish Fort, Fountain of Youth, Sebastian's Winery, and of course the shops and restaurants were a huge plus. We highly recommend this historic home for anyone looking to explore St. Augustine

This property was clean, relatively quiet, and a short walk to the historic district. The train tracks are nearby, but we only heard trains twice during our visit.

Very good location for walking to old st Augustine..property owner is a poor communicator, asked us to allow a plumber in to fix a leaky sink and never followed up .. animal poop on deck and in yard.. only usable closet was used for storage and not available for guest.. front door punch not working, no instructions on exit requirements or support items, ie TV service..furniture was below average except for dinning table it was good..

Ghosted by host - VRBO customer service sub par
Booked this house in St Augustine for a 7 night stay and paid upon booking. There are 4 of us and our dog. Host never gave us access/door code to the house. When we arrived, we tried to contact the host via phone, the app, and messaging, all to no avail. After waiting about an hour to hear back I called VRBO. (Every call to vrbo customer service, for 3 days in a row, took an hour to 90 minutes to get answers) After over an hour vrbo put us up in a hotel for the night and said the rebooking team would contact us the next day. After not hearing anything from the vrbo rebooking team the next morning at 11am, I called them. (This was a 90+ minute phone call) The end result of this call was that the rebooking team would continue to work on it and that I would need to book something on my own for the next 3 nights, and was sent an email with the criteria of booking and how to submit receipts to vrbo to eventually be reimbursed. I booked a 3 night hotel stay as I was very reluctant to book another vrbo. I never heard anything back from vrbo. By this point my current hotel was out of rooms for our final 3 nights of our stay, so I had to book another hotel for our final 3 nights. I was now out of pocket over $1600 for 6 nights of hotel stay plus my original vrbo for a week. Not to mention the extra $ for restaurants as we were eating at since there wasn’t a kitchen in our hotel rooms. Really bad experience

Nice
Close to everything, walking distance to down town. Everything you need in house. This is not a complaint the house has a slight dog smell. It is pet friendly so don’t complain. It was very clean but you can tell that pets are allowed. Overall excellent stay. Only complaint was trying to get check in information and get ahold of owner before trip. Once we were in the house owner was responsive Would book again.

Loved this stay!
I stayed at this charming bungalow from just before Thanksgiving through New Year’s Day. The location is fantastic, a short walk to downtown StA and 10 minutes to amazing beaches. My yellow lab and I explored daily, I lost about 10 pounds! It got me through my first holidays since my husband passed away. Thanks to Linda!!

Need some updates
The house was very cute, but had some issues. The driveway and ally around back was really bad. We brought our BMW and the road was really rutted out. Hard to get it under the carport. Would had rather got a parking permit for the front. The house was well stocked but I believe it had been a while since the cleaning crew was in the house. We know it was pet friendly which didn't bother us, but we found dog toys under tv cabinet in living room. Hair on couch and area rug. We cleaned up before and after we left. The tv in front bedroom we could not get to work with any remote and apparently the last people had the same issue because we found a note in kitchen drawer that was left for owner or some one and it was hidden in the drawer. The refrigerator was turned up so high with the freezer that it had ice on the shelf on the refrigerator portion. We left it better than we found it.

Cute little home
Cute home, but could not get into the house, owner was not responding at all, vrbo finally found a door code that actually worked so after an hour we got in that was a little disappointing, especially having my elder parents and dogs, but stuff happens, rust in tub but other then that was a cute place, and stocked well

Great for weekend
It was great and affordable for our Labor Day weekend trip. Great location.. it’s just a 20 minute walk to historic St. Augustine. The house was very clean , owner responsible and process easy. The only thing I would suggest is an upgrade for the mattresses as they were not very comfortable (least one bedroom) and it was not easy sleeping, but other than that would Definitely stay again.

Great Trip
St. Augustine is one of our favorite places to visit and now we have a favorite place to stay! The house is located on a quiet street and easy to find. It is close to all the downtown attractions and we loved walking the half a mile to the downtown area admiring all the other houses and deciding which one we should buy.. lol. The house itself is clean, cozy, beds are extremely comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you could possible need. The front porch is spacious and there is a carport in the back for your car. I would definitely recommend this home and we are planning our next trip.
