I was aware the hotel was under construction but it was reported as “business hours” but that was untrue. Sunday was loud and most doors were open (not a great sense of security) and Monday they started working/drilling waking me up before 7am. And again when they start working all doors are propped open which is not great for your sense of security. I did talk to the desk about this but since I prepaid with hotels.com they were not willing to do anything about it I’m all for an update as this hotel as it really does need it but not to the detriment of my security and sleep

Cleanliness and overall condition of this property were poor. Much of the carpeting was extremely dirty with areas that had severe ripples. Shower had spots where caulk was missing, which is an invitation for the breeding of mold. The facility conditions were not what I would expect from the Marriott brand. I also felt disappointed that there was not 24/7 cold drinking water available in the lobby. I did appreciate the reduction of single use plastics by providing refillable shower and bath products and the room presentation of the bedding and bathroom linens was pleasing to the eye.
