Just perfect
I don’t often leave reviews which is an indicator of how good this was. The weather and company was excellent which is always going to help but this is a great place to stay. Run like clock work- clean, great location, good facilities throughout, excellent shower and breakfast and hosts who make you feel at home and care for your every need. I would certainly return and recommend to friends and family.

Lovely B&B
Margaret and Martin are lovely people who made us feel more than welcome. Our room had a wonderful sea view and was well equipped. I would say that Hotels.com has titiled the Borthalan as a hotel but I personally think it is a B&B - but a lovely one.

I had the most delightful stay at Borthalan Hotel, Margaret and Martin made me most welcome, it was very peaceful and restful. I was really surprised the lovely breakfasts were included, somehow I missed that. My room was really lovely, I felt quite at home ,all I needed was there. The transport system is amazing, not expesive and reliable. Definitely recommend a stay there.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Borthalon House. Martin and Margaret were wonderful hosts. They were so friendly and engaging and willing to help in any way they could. Margaret cooked an excellent hot breakfast each morning. Would definitely recommend.

Very good adress, large Breakfast choice, location is good although in a very build up area it is close to the beach and beautiful sea side walks. We enjoyed the sea view from our room and tea and coffee provided.

I want to stay again
Very comfortable, clean and friendly establishment. Beautiful sea view from rooms 5 & 7. I don’t know about orhers Good hearty full English breakfast. Excellent service. Very close to carbis bay station and it’s only £1 to get into ST Ives (05/07/22). I liked it here a lot and intend to stay again.

On arrival it was explained that rooms would not be serviced as we were only there 3 days. We were only left one 20ml tube of shower gel & shampoo for 2 for 3 days. The bathroom was very small and had no natural light. Breakfast was good and cooked to order

We had a lovely 4 night stay at Borthalan House. A beautiful house in a stunning location, ideally situated between St Ives and Hayle. The hosts were absolutely charming. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend and would love to return in future.
