Room was painted in dismal colors; shades of cold gray. Creepy. Instead of the customary red wall in the room it was painted a dark cold gray. Depressing. Also the customary red and black bed spread was absent. I will no longer choose red roof inn as my hotel; my room was as gray as a prison cell,

Staff was very nice, friendly and accommodating. The phone in my room did not work. The tv remote had to be replaced. Refrigerator and microwave were clean, operational and handy. Coffee maker and free coffee was nice. Mattress needs to be replaced or at least flipped. Nothing major or serious needs to be done, but a little sprucing up would be nice.
