Mimi's Downtown Cottage is a gem of an early 1900 house. It has a fabulous location, downtown Lodi, with many restaurants, tasting rooms, microbrews, movie theater, boutique shops and antique stores just blocks away. You can't stay any closer to downtown than this.
The Guest enjoys an entire home to themselves. The sunny cottage retains its charm with beveled glass double doors inside, lovely woodwork and original multi-pane windows. The kitchen is totally new but retains it's character with a farm house sink and touches of Blue and White Willow. The kitchen has a four burner stove, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, refrigerator with freezer and all the utensil needed in a kitchen to make meals.
House has always been very clean. Cleaning is now based upon guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention after each guest leaves.
A Jack and Jill Suite provides two bedrooms both with queen size beds. The spacious living room and dining room repeat the blue and white décor and provides a 3rd sleeping area with a queen sofa sleeper. There are many different pillows to choice from to find one of your liking. This is your home away from home. Very comfortable, relaxing surrounding. Enjoy the small private back yard equip with outdoor table, seating's and BBQ. A Laundry room with washer and dryer are there for guests to use. A smart television with cable and wifi is available for your use.
There is a long driveway and off street parking right in front of the cottage. Not more than 50 yards is the Lodi Police Department.
Come enjoy and explore beautiful Lodi and the surrounding area. Lodi is centrally located in Northern California. Explore the foothills and old mining towns. Head up to the Sierra Nevada's. Enjoy the liveliness of the bay area with San Francisco less than 2 hours away.
Mimi's family has been in Lodi 5 generations and are involved in vineyards and the wine industry. There are small touches in the house which reflects her love of grapes and wine. Those who rent the cottage will be pleased at how integrated the cottage is with the down town area. Mimi has the love of travel and has visited more than 38 countries.
